This man right here gave me a dream. He gave me a whole new universe with an incredible plot and characters who feel real. I had no idea he had so much haters. and those people, the haters, should try to write such an amazing book and make it as good as Paolini's. If you don't appreciate his work, don't watch this and don't comment.

The Inheritance cycle is amazing. I really don't get why people hate Christopher Paolini. He's a really likeable guy.

There is not any book that hasn't "copied" another book, that's why writers start writing, the books they read. And wouldn't you like to meld those to things you love together, even if not word for word, but at least homage or a declaration of the importance of certain books that you love.

They were also not the first to display elves as intelligent and graceful beings that fought with the grumpy dwarves. Just because Eragon sailed off in the ending to a new land does not mean Mr. Paolini ripped off of Lord of the Rings. Going off to a new land wasn't first presented in Lord of the Rings, do you know how many other books have that ending? It's simply a peaceful resolution.

It makes me sad when I read people hating on Mr. Paolini. Fantasy is not a diverse genre, so many races and "missions" are used over and over again and every fantasy book has a similar theme. But the characters themselves and the situations they are placed in, including their reactions, make the book it's own. Yes the Inheritance Cycle has similarities to Star Wars, Dragonriders of Pern, and Lord of the Rings; he was influenced by them. But those series were not the first to introduce dragons.

I really don't get what the hate for Paolini comes from? You are really going to put him down for something he started building up since he was 16? He has developed greatly as a writer. I would like to see many of you write a quality book. Then again, Twilight and 50 Shades of Gray proves that anyone can write a book.
Many stories have had endings like Inheritance. I was listening to the Wind Waker's OST, and the ending is quite similar to Inheritance. Many stories are relate... able.

Aragon... Arya... galvatorex (galvatron?) No offence to the guy but you can tell he wrote them in his teen years.

Noooooooo the ending!!!!!!! Why Christopher?!?! Eragon better come back in another series you do or I might have to hunt you down and kill you. Love your work, but the ending of a series this immense and epic must not end the way it did.

You clearly haven't read much. It's ok, though... but nothing significant.
