Thank you so much This is first time watching you and I have subscribed This Grandma loves Korean food must be simple to make I am Japanese from Hawaii What doe Gochugari do? I use Gochujang sauce a lot
@carolehiga9772 ☺️☺️☺️ you are welcome. Gochugaru is chili powder. It spices up and makes food look redder. Also, you can taste chili's own flavor. Since it's fried Rice, I wanted it to be a little dry and crispy, so in terms of that, I think gochugaru fits better than gochujang.
@@pretendtobenormal8064a little bit of water is normal in Korean fried rice, it just matters how you pour the water (don't drown it in water like Jamie Oliver) Uncle Roger literally got flamed for thinking water in Korean fried rice is wrong when it's not. Maybe educate yourself b4 you start commenting on recipes. (PS. On the instant rice part, as a rice loving asian who eats rice 2 meals a day, it's not the greatest crime to humanity. )
Very straightforward and easy to follow :)
I'm so glad :)
Could you put recipe on comments please

Instant rice and you added water during cooking. Is this a Jamie Oliver recipe? 🤣

@@Whimsystealer My comment was not intended as a critique of the food being prepared. It was a Jamie Oliver jab.
@pretendtobenormal8064 I mean, the moment you called it a Jamie Oliver recipe made it a roast targeted at the creator lol
