Someday soon you will be almost 30 too, and with all my heart I hope you too will look back on all your past selves with understanding and appreciation.

I was in a bad place mentally when I found this song a year or two ago. Wasn't happy with how things were. I lost myself to the problems i tried to fix. I don't even remember how and when I saved this on my spotify, because I was drunken mess 24x7. It was just there in my phone, like some sort of divine intervention. So wondering what type of song it is, I gave it a listen in my dreadful solitude, wondering if it's a good song. At the point when I listened to this, I couldn't care where the song came from. It immediately captured me and my state of being. It spoke to me, asking me if I should end it all right now, or just take a break & let go of things - just become free at least for a moment. Fast forward to today, and I'm sober in every way. Still suffer from my human nature, but safe to say I'm happy in myself. I've learned to find resolve in my darkest moments. And I use the inspiration from this song to speak to the people around me who need the help and give them the gentle reminder to just drop whatever they have in their hands and breathe for a moment. I still don't know from where the song came to me, but that in itself is a lesson in life: some things are just meant to happen, so what matters more is how you treat/react to it. I could've been inquisitive and scratched at my memory trying to remember how, or I could simply relax and experience it positively. Oh how simple life gets with a calm positive mind that respects itself.
