Let me know what you think of this fragrance? I reviewed this one years ago but a spoof style. This is one that you should have in your collection however.
Finally got this after wanting it for years, and I'm digging it! To me this fragrance is fresh warm woody, a kind of "fresh out of the shower" scent. The citruses and pink pepper start off strong with some kind of wood in the back. As it lingers it becomes completely woody, and I think I get patchouli too, a subtle callback to the 1974 Gentleman. It seems to last moderately long, but doesn't project much. It's a comforting and pleasing scent, can't wait to wear this all autumn!
This is one that must be looked into if you're looking for both a masculine and gentlemanly fragrance.
One of the most sophisticated, classiest & most complimented fragrance in my collection. It works in all seasons here in Australia, even during summer. Great option if you want to wear a fragrance, but don't want to scream "cologne guy" vibe as it's inoffensive, almost like mugler cologne.
It's still in production (just with slightly newer style sticker & package) - however, gentlemen only flankers have been discontinued. Great video btw. 👍
Thanks for watching and clarifying, MK. That's strange that they would discontinue everything else from the line but this one. The Absolute was the best in my opinion and the others were not so bad.
It smells clean, classy, perfect for summer days outside, a beautiful office scent, can pull off in the evenings as well. Not trendy but a classic & totally inoffensive. I love it!

Underrated for sure. It’s classy without screaming, very masculine, reminds of the original CH212 but slightly more fruity and less metallic.

I had this fragrance during my fragrance journey and your right it's definitely a mature fragrance. I got some of the Citruses, but mostly the pink pepper, Violet leaf and the Birch. This was a signature scent for me all seasons except winter. After watching this I may buy this bottle back...Great review my guy.
I liked it back in the day but I wasn't ready for how mature and gentlemanly it really was. Now I just think it's stellar.

I bought this not long ago and it’s a great pick up. I think it’s best used for formal or semi formal work spaces. Super underrated

Have this one....one of my favourites....but not 2b worn in too much heat.....better on a breezy day.
The silage on this with a breezy day would be NICE!!!
Wore this to a movie 1 day by mistake it projected really loud in there in my opinion for a good 30mins after being loud in the car for 30mins on the way there the pepper pops it smells GREAT just aggressive don’t over spray and go to the movies the loudness doesn’t last long but if u spray it on your clothes it’ll stay there for a loooooonggg time or until you wash it that’s fire !!

I miss them both. I got in touch with Rio back in the fall but he pretty much stays off grid and doesn't get back to people. That photo, that was such a fun trip in June of 2015.

You can’t go wrong with any Givenchy men’s fragrance.. they’re all fantastic. I’ve been a fan of pretty much every single one.
Its a terrific brand overall. What I don't like about Givenchy is that some of their fragrances get discontinued in just a few short years.
Chad, I like Gentlemen Only by Givenchy. I think that it is a very good fragrance. My favorite from the Gentlemen Only line is Gentlemen Only Absolute. I am glad that I own a bottle because it is discontinued and it sells for crazy high prices online.
That is my favourite from the line and pretty much from the brand itself. Its a shame that it is discontinued.

A dad fragrance for sure! Always considered this one quite casual myself. And Armaf's Just For You is one of the best early clones. So much so that I stowed this one away for safe keepin'. 😄 The leafy greeness, mandarin and spicy sweetness make this fragrance such a delight to wear in the spring. But still kinda shower gel-esque imo. If someone were to label it as an early "blue" fragrance, I wouldn't disagree. Great review Chad!
