The Roman Empire died when Mustafa Kemal Aturtürk deposed the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire (Conquerors of Byzantium/Rome) of which the Ottomans saw themselves as Romans. I would argue that from all the players who wanted the title of Caesar, from the Habsburg's to the Prussians to the Romanoff's it was the Ottomans who took the seat of Constaninople & the patronage of the Patriach of the Byzantine Church. The Romanoff's spent 3 centuries fighting the Ottomans for the Black Sea & Constaninople which the Ottomans inherited from the Greeks/Byzantines. The Kaiser/Tzar are all translations of Caesar. The story has not ended as it is continuous as any Russian with romanticism at heart wants Constaninople so does any Greek. 😂😂😂
Great video!
