Clean and Tasty Indian Street Food in Delhi 🇮🇳

- I visited the INA Market area of Delhi to try a very popular street food there called 'Dahi ke Sholay.' It's fried bread rolls, stuffed with curd / yoghurt and cheese.
I had been recommended this place by many Delhi locals and after trying this desi snack, I'm happy to say that it lives up to the hype. A must try if you're visiting Delhi, and at only 40 rupees (£0.38 GBP / $0.48 USD) why not?
Those of you who have been watching my videos for a few years may recognise the area where I was eating the Dahi ke Sholay. Right behind me was the juice shop where a rickshaw wala was pestering me in a previous vlog ( • $2 South Indian Uttapa... ).
I remembered that in that vlog I'd eaten a delicious bowl of sambar vada up the street, so I went searching for that shop. Fortunately the sambar vada wala was still there, albeit with higher prices. Inflation is real.
Sambar is a spicy Indian vegetable broth and vada is a savoury kind of donut made with lentils, originating from South India. That combination are perfect together, as the sambar soaks into the vada perfectly and it feels like nice warm, spicy comfort food. Yum yum!
Next door to the Sambar Vada Wala was a legal documents office, and the owner, Mr Shlok, gave me a suggestion for some more street food. I told him that I would visit Lajpat Nagar Market and he said there's a famous shop there called Dolma Auntie Momos. Then he offered to drive me there in his car.
There was a bit of confusion when we got to the Najpat Nagar bazar, as there were multiple shops called 'Dolma Auntie Momos'. We tried to find the original and authentic one, which we eventually discovered was down a lane, not on the main road. But the staff there told us that the other Dolma Auntie shops were also owned by the same people, and were branches and not fake versions of the shop.
The momos were cheap and tasty. Would definitely recommend them.
While in the market, we went hunting to find me a Delhi Capitals cricket jersey, but to no avail. Who would have thought it would be so difficult to find a cricket jersey in India?
Instead, I bought a nice hoodie after some hard bargaining with the vendor.
And I celebrated that bargaining victory with a fresh vegetable juice. Fresh juice is always readily available and cheap in Indian cities.
I finished off the afternoon foodie adventure with an Indian mouth cleanser known as paan. We visited a famous paan vendor called Prince Paan in the Greater Kailash area of Delhi, who had some interesting variations of paan.
As the afternoon came to an end, the rush hour traffic began, and it was going to be difficult for me to get back to my hotel by car. So I opted to call a motorbike via Uber, to get through the traffic a bit easier.
After relaxing in my hotel, I went back out to meat Shlok and his girlfriend for dinner. We visited Yashwant Place which is a casual semi-outdoor eating area with lots of small restaurants. Most seem to be focused on Chinese food and North Indian food.
We visited Shlok's favourite restaurant there and enjoyed a good feast, followed by chocolate cake to celebrate his girlfriend's birthday.

31:44 the way shlok just pushed the kid with the balloons out the way😂
Positive representation of Indian street food! Rare nowadays with how many people take advantage of negativity on social media algorithms and paint all of it as dirty. A welcome change, that's for sure.
Such a nice Delhi guy... We are proud of you brother... Good job
India is chaotic, but full of life, happiness and celebration. This vlog amplifies the idea. Thanks Dale.
Every single video you put out is amazing, entertaining and a cultural expereince. Keep up the great work!
Long time no see, I just thought of you today, haha!
Your energy is like a flood. Watching your videos makes me feel better!
Indian street food is very attractive, but this time the Golden Fried Prawns attracted me the most!
I hope the cricket jersey company can contact you directly so that you don’t have to walk so hard to find the jersey every time!
This episode made me see the kindness and enthusiasm of Indians again, and I hope to travel there one day!
Thanks a lot for sharing, super great job! 👍🤩🙌👏🎉

As a Muslim,I agree 100% with Mr Shlok
They just loot in the name of Islam and ALLAH
I mean it’s true in almost every religion, you will get some low honour people using religion to feed themselves. Of course not everyone is doing that but there is gonna be some bad apples doing some shady stuff.
I felt this is one of the best vlog by dale...you got stuck while removing hoody 😂😂..Shlok made this vlog outstanding...keep it up dude !

Islamic terrorism (also known as Islamist terrorism or radical Islamic terrorism) refers to terrorist acts with religious motivations carried out by fundamentalist militant Islamists and Islamic extremists.[1][2][3]
Incidents and fatalities from Islamic terrorism have been concentrated in eight Muslim-majority countries (Afghanistan, Egypt, Iraq, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia, and Syria),[4] while four Islamic extremist groups (Islamic State, Boko Haram, the Taliban, and al-Qaeda) were responsible for 74% of all deaths from terrorism in 2015.[5][6] The annual number of fatalities from terrorist attacks grew sharply from 2011 to 2014 when it reached a peak of 33,438, before declining to 13,826 in 2019.[7]
Since at least the 1990s, these terrorist incidents have occurred on a global scale, affecting not only Muslim-majority countries in Africa and Asia, but also Russia, Australia, Canada, Israel, India, the United States, China, the Philippines, Thailand, and countries within Europe. Such attacks have targeted both Muslims and non-Muslims,[8] with one study finding 80% of terrorist victims to be Muslims.[9][10] In a number of the worst-affected Muslim-majority regions, these terrorists have been met by armed, independent resistance groups,[11] state actors and their proxies, and elsewhere by condemnation by prominent Islamic figures.[12][13][14] Journalists have also become targets of Islamic terrorism, particularly for the depiction of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, with the Charlie Hebdo shooting being protested by millions in France.
Justifications given for attacks on civilians by Islamic extremist groups come from their interpretations of the Quran,[3] the hadith,[15][16] and sharia law.[3] These include retribution by armed jihad for the perceived injustices of unbelievers against Muslims;[17] the belief that the killing of many self-proclaimed Muslims is required because they have violated Islamic law and are disbelievers (takfir);[18] the overriding necessity of restoring and purifying Islam by establishing sharia law, especially by restoring the Caliphate as a pan-Islamic state (especially ISIS);[19] the glory and heavenly rewards of martyrdom;[16] the supremacy of Islam over all other religions.[N
