Nothing very complicated for this new photo that Thierry Kuba offers you to make. All this to show you that it doesn’t necessarily take much to make a beautiful photo.

@@thierrykubaBTS Hi Thierry - I would love to see this tutorial also. I am very familiar with masking and layers, but because you are moving the wine glass so much how do you get the masking accurate in post production? I saw you took a lot of shots whilst moving the wine glass after you captured the splash, but it would still not be exactly where the glass was when you captured the splash, therefore it will be slightly out of focus and not look right when masking it in. I have had trouble with this kind of shot in the past. If you could link a good tutorial that would be great. Thanks for all your videos, they are great!

@@geoffgreenwood3243 I did a similar shot with swirling wine and bottle of wine also next to it. You take one shot with everything in place with the wine not moving. Then you gently rock the wine glass on the same plane of focus, left to right and take a few shots of it spilling out/almost spilling out. You can cut out the part where the wine comes up nicely and mask it over the still shot. You might have to comp in various rocking shots elements onto the base shot to make it look as realistic as possible. Also remember to take a shot of just the bg with the background spot so that you can mask out unwanted glass elements.
