Hey everyone, I’ll start adding the links to the things that you can buy new in the description box in the next days after moving in! Hope you enjoyed the video 💕
I love the vid but My soul broke in two when you started painting Your night stands I'm pretty sure they're made noughty pine wood Which is an extremely rare tree I could understand if the finish on the night stands was broken But to cover the wood in white ,oh 😭 💔
Aw haha well David’s family didn’t need them anymore and that’s when we decided to paint them to match our bedroom better and save some money! We thought better use them before they end up in a basement or worse ;)
Idk in this line of thought it's just living to preserve a object instead of enjoying and using it as we should. I'm pretty sure someone can remove the paint and keep the original color in the future in case they want to haha
This is so much fun to watch. How lucky you are to live in Europe!!! The antiques there are always the best!!! (Also, David dancing to the record player was just adorable lol!)
this series is keeping me alive!! all the furniture is soo beautiful and is definitely inspiring my ideas when i move!! I do agree with you when you say that the tv stand is a bit big. maybe a shorter/longer one would look nicer!!
I think you should keep the bed color for now. I love the blue/white/beige/gray combo 😍😍 And you are right about the tv-stand. If you can find another solution for it in the living room it would be perfect. But everything looks great already!
It's so fun, seeing you guys move in and actively seek antiques (1930s-1950s are the best!) for your place, especially in Europe. BTW, if you want, there is grout paint or grout bleach pens, if you want those for your kitchen tile wall (and Maybe floor) grout.
The bedroom set looks perfect!🤩 It looks cohesive, and even they are not the same color they match!👍 Lovely video....Soooo excited for you both! LOOOOVED the record player too!❤📻🎶🎵
It looks amazing you guys! 😍 I thought the headboard/bed looked so much better when ironed and with the floral throw on top. Maybe you could opt for slightly smaller, vintage looking pillows? Also, maybe it would be an idea to get a sideboard where you can store the tv in so you have to open it in order to watch the tv? This way the tv is out of the way and the living room looks even more vintage? Good luck moving today and enjoy your first night in the new flat together! 🥳🤗
@@slevemcdichael5274 Me too Steve! I love dark wooden vintage furniture. All I will ever do to mine is polish it, and a professional shellac/restore on some that have scratches and dings ( as vintage furniture often does). I will even get my modern white doors stripped and stained dark one day ( my housing co op put those in. I would never have chosen them. They are so ugly!).
I love it all so much ! You are so lucky to live in country where you can find old furniture! I love the record player, the couch, the sidebourd … everything! I can t wait to see it when it s finish. The vibe in that house is ❤️
I like the stand you got for the tv its stunning, but i think something taller and less deep would work better. Like the ones where you can put the TV inside and open the cabinet doors to watch tv. do you know what I mean? I think that would work better for a vintage look because you don't see the tv haha. but either way its pretty! ahhhh the wardrobe !!!! it looks STUNNING !! I am so jealous haha! I am in the process of renovating my closet and it hurts to know it will never be as beautiful as your wardrobe because of the drapes in the window 😭😭 I can't to see the move in vlog!!
Love, love, LOVE! I’m SO jealous! Love your flat! Everything is gorgeous. Love the wardrobe and record player. ♥️ The TV stand is perfect. Leave it! Just discovered your Channel from a link on Sage Lillyman channel.
This was my favorite episode so far! I’m truly happy for you both and I can’t wait for more! You’re so so nice and I’m always happy to watch your amazing videos, you’re an inspiration
Honestly you two are so adorable 🥰 it’s really so enjoyable to see all the things you two are putting together for your place. So cute ❤️ I guess I can’t find another word…sending you both tons of love from San Francisco. Very special time in your lives ❤️🙏🏽
I love this series so much. You two are so beautiful together. I love art deco and it so nice to see other young people who do too. Your new pieces look amazing. Bed side tables are so cute. I wonder if you would consider painting the TV stand as well that way it may decrease in size visually? Would be a shame to let it go. Your kitchen. Looks fab ❤️❤️ xx
Omg! I just subscribed to your channel today! Congrats on your new place! I quicky watched the videos on how you fixed up your place and it looks amazing!! So happy for you both! Can't wait to see new videos in your new vintage home! ❤🖥
Den Fernseher könnte man vielleicht an der Wand befestigen... dann habt ihr auf der Kommode Platz für z.B. nen Plattenspieler o.Ä. 😉 Alles Gute für euch!
Looks great! I have also been posting our 1930's decorated home on the channel. We have the same colored walls and that Ikea mirror is similar to ours too. Its a genuine 30s-40s look. We got the paint color out of magazines from the era to make it authentic.
Congratulations!!! I can't wait for the next episode😭💖, and I think the problem with the living room it might be the color of the furniture, or you can try putting a tablecloth on wouldn't be a bad idea I think.....
I found that the fabric of the bed matches the color of the wardrobe very well. But if you're going to change it, I think it would be nice if it was in the same shade as the wardrobe curtain. About the furniture and the TV, wouldn't you be able to put them in the bedroom?

Just started watching your videos and I'm so happy to see another POC TH-camr in the vintage fashion genre! Sending lots of love from Florida

Really sad to see them go!
Such a shame 😢

When y'all picked up the record player, I screamed along with you! Gorgeous! Wow!!! Congrats on all the finds. Your new home is looking so good!
Honey! Never apologize for being so happy and feeling the need to squeal with joy!

Love love this series. You two are so adorable. Still a little sad over the painting of the beautiful nightstands.
Agreed, I loved the video but gagged when that first brush stroke of white paint went over it

I agree the sideboard is too big, probably too deep, specifically. Beautiful home!
You all are just the cutest.
Thank you so much for sharing this! It makes my day
You have great taste and so lucky to find these Barrick beautiful pieces. Congratulations to you both on your new adventure together.

so excited for you to finally get to move in!! 💛
Y’all are so cute! Me and my boyfriend love y’all and definitely share your same style💗
you two are literally so adorable. If my future doesn't look like this, I will be extremely disappointed hahaha
The paper liner would have been scented, it was to help keep those pesky moths at bay! Xx
I put scented sachets that you hang on clothes hangers in mine.
Love the bedroom. Since the tv small u can try a vintage console table.

@@timefortea1931 Nice!
Congratulations!!! I can't wait for the next episode😭💖, and I think the problem with the living room it might be the color of the furniture, or you can try putting a tablecloth on wouldn't be a bad idea I think.....
Also, if you paint it you could combine the colors with the record player ones so it looks more "harmonious" and fitting

I say wait for when you get the table and rest of the living room furniture until you decide on the sideboard
