QUESTIONS TO TEST YOUR UNDERSTANDING 1. Discuss solubility of sulphates in water. 2. Provide an example of an insoluble chloride. 3. Describe what happens when a carbonate reacts with an acid. 4. Name a sulphate that is generally insoluble in water. 5. How is copper (II) sulphate prepared in the lab? 6. What are the products formed when hydrochloric acid reacts with lead (II) carbonate? 7. Identify two carbonates that are insoluble in water. 8. Which gas is produced when acids react with a metal carbonate? 9. Explain the preparation of copper (II) sulphate, starting with copper metal. 10. List two elements whose salts are ALL soluble.
I love the way you teach madam🙏...Can you please make a videos on this topics👉1.ELECTROCHEMISTRY 2.ORGANIC CHEMISTRY (I) and(II) 3.RADIOACTIVITY 4.ENERGY CHANGES IN PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROCESSES...i have watched almost all your videos and all of them have helped me a lot to score a good grade in chemistry ,But the topics that have highlighted is quite confusing.... please help madam!....May God bless you 🙏🏼
Madam my answers correct 2.lead chloride 3.It will form a salt ,water and carbon 4 oxide 4.lead sulphate, Barium sulphate and calcium sulphate 6.lead chloride, water and carbon 4 oxide gas 7.Magnesium carbonate and calcium carbonate 8. Carbon 4 oxide 10.Hydroxide and nitrate
What about when preparing salts of very reactive metals such as calcium and sodium ;do we react with the dilute acid directly or we first heat it in air.for example preparing calcium sulphate starting with calcium metal
Highly reactive metals like sodium would react explosively with the acid. What you can do is react a hydroxide/carbonate of the metal with the acid to get the respective sodium salt.
Madam what if you react copper turning with dilute nitric acid to form copper2 nitrate then react with sulphuric acid to form copper2 sulphate 😊 is it okay?

Welcome 😊
Madam pls I request u do a video abt thermal decomposition of salts and topic 2 form 1 ILE abt curve and ILE temporary change❤️
Thank you madam ❤❤❤
Welcome!! 👍
Madam i request you to do carbon and its compound bcoz i have not understood it.

Will try InshaAllah. Thanks for watching. Share to your friends too 👍
I've already uploaded videos on radioactivity 👌
Madam please i request on topic of Organic çhem ana electronegative
Okay, InshaAllah. I'm planning on having lessons on organic chemistry. It's been requested a lot 👍
Madam my answers correct
2.lead chloride
3.It will form a salt ,water and carbon 4 oxide
4.lead sulphate, Barium sulphate and calcium sulphate
6.lead chloride, water and carbon 4 oxide gas
7.Magnesium carbonate and calcium carbonate
8. Carbon 4 oxide
10.Hydroxide and nitrate
Excellent work 👏
As for question 10, the elements whose salts are all soluble are group I elements such as Sodium and Potassium.
Thank you madam

There won't be any reaction btw dil sulphuric acid and copper (II) nitrate unless hot and conc sulphuric acid is used.
