An erotic movie can be the foot in the door to an acting career (e.g. Kim Go Eun, Im Ji Yeon), or can give a C-list actress's career a boost into eventual stardom (e.g. Bae Doo-Na, Esom, Cho Yeo-Jeong). As far as I'm aware, not a single Korean A-list actress has ever done a nude scene. Some A-list actresses have done sex-scenes, but not nude scenes.

She accepted the roles in "Obsessed" and "The Treacherous" as an unknown actress, which gave her a foot into the door to more mainstream (less naked) roles in Kdramas. Now that she is an A-list actress, it is very unlikely that she will ever do another nude role. She had the opportunity to show some skin in her sex scene in "The Glory", but she remained fully clothed, even though there was nudity in that drama (Cha Joo Young topless).

A few other genuine Korean masterpieces include: 1) The Man From Nowhere; 2) Tae Guk Gi; 3) My Love, Don’t Cross That River; 4) A Tale Of Two Sisters; 5) A Special Lady; 6) Sympathy For Mr Vengeance; 7) My Way; 8) Always; 9) Masquerade; 10) Ballerina!

Scarlet Innocence took my breath away..was the best acting with a good story line...I am watching all of these..only problem is where to watch it...
Scarlett Innocence is a really great movie though not for the steamy scenes it contains. In my opinion these 18+ scenes are not necessary because they distract from the real issue the narration deals with. But for the sake of aesthetics - and maybe also sales - it is despite some frames by which one can spot that the actors were not totally at ease with the director's demands. All in all an outstanding movie.

Obsessed is superb....Song Seung-heon is yummy from head to toe! A Frozen Flower with realistic fight scenes, historic cinematic views, beautiful young men beating drums and Zo In Sung making love to the queen.

Yes! A Man and A Woman is subtle yet deep. And it starred Gong Yoo and Jeon Do Yeon (who was also in The Housemaid).
