I really don't understand why those supporting Conrad and Belly would prefer that pairing. I assume they've read the books (which I haven't) and base their opinion on them. In the TV series, Conrad doesn't treat Belly well, except for the time they were a couple. Many people explain Conrad's behavior and pushing away of Belly as a result of dealing with his mother's illness. However, Jeremiah was even more bonded to their mother and took care of her on a daily basis. In the series, Jeremiah is caring towards Belly, remembers what makes her happy, and gives his consent for his brother to be in a relationship with Belly, even though he himself is suffering and doesn't show his feelings. So, why do some people still prefer Belly being with Conrad? In real life, a relationship with someone like Conrad would be very difficult. Friendship in a relationship is crucial, and Jer and Bells are friends who truly know each other.
i've read the books & con is worse there so i don't get it either, sadly a lot of people especially younger audiences believe in struggle love and confuse infatuation with love... usually when they mature they will realise that it takes so much more than chemistry & passion for a relationship to work
BECAUSE jere has the most obnoxious "nice guy" personality in the world acting like he's so into belly when he legit said he only started being into her when she became pretty, like ugh he treats belly like some competing factor against conrad who genuinely loves belly
@originalcake He legit said on season 1 episode 5 that he'd always liked her but chose to stay silent about his feelings bc he knew how she felt about Conrad. I'm not sure why they changed that up on last week's episode, but the receipts are there. He's in love with Belly just as much as Conrad is.

But when he knew conrad didn't treat belly right and also saw the opportunity he immidiately get it. Cuz he has been waiting for that moment coming finally for him

FINALLYYY i've been pushing for daylight to be jelly's song for so long. jeremiah is literally the daylight to conrad's red for belly 😭 the light and warmth that saves you when everything else feels like a whirlwind of darkness. with him she's always happy and smiling. belly said something along the lines of "should it take that much effort?" when talking to some guy in s2 - i know she was thinking of conrad then but i would absolutely LOVE for her to realize that it's been jeremiah all along. her bestfriend who she knows better than anyone else in the world and who knows her just the same too.

I have to admit I have watched this edit an unhealthy amount of times.Jeremiah is definitely Daylight.I know how the books end but I am Team Jellyfish 🪼 forever. I just hope Jenny doesn’t assassinate Jer’s character just to prop up Conrad like she does in book 3.It makes zero sense for him to cheat, though even in the book he didn’t cheat as they were already broken up.They can create angst without that plot because it really is out of character for TV Jer to do that after everything that happened in s2.

These season was very much about Jere's point of view than Cornad's. Apart from his look(OMG!!) he has become more masculine than the previous season. He has waited for Belly to move and not dragged himself although he wanted her so badly. At then end we all know how it will end up but a little time for this moment is worthwhile.
