Hey everyone, thanks for watching the video. I’m sorry we didn’t get a haul segment like we thought we were at the end. It seems not to have processed. But I am driving all over gathering new merchandise of old vintage interest, so will be due for a good haul video very soon.
No need to apologize . Sometimes it’s hard to find items you like or want to resell . What you showed was very nice . I always enjoy your videos no matter what 😊😊😊
Always so much fun to tag along with you on these shopping sprees. Lots of things to look at and listen to you explain their origins as well. You have a great day and safe travels
As always, THANK YOU for showing such beautiful glass. Gotta get myself a drool cup for when I watch you, always seeing something I'd love to have at a great price!
Hi George, hope you are doing well and staying warm! So much snow and cold here.....brrr. Nice selection of Pilgrim glass in this shop, and thank you for the info on the cord, I've wondered about that. Too bad about the Redwing candleholder/vases, that was a great find! Also really liked the tourquoise colored glasses next to the sage Empoli decanter. Congrats on the nice score of the lucite owl napkin holder. Thank you also for helping me with a question I had on a vase I purchased online. So appreciate each knowledge filled video and your willingness to share, always something interesting to see and learn! BTW, caught that Conehead reference ~ very clever George! 😂😂
It brought back fun memories when you were showing the CB radio equipment. My Dad had one in his truck and set up one for my semi invalid Grandmother (his mother in law) in her home. She chose “Swamp Woman” as her handle. If you had known her you’d understand why it was hilarious 😂.
My town wish i would of ran into you. Im in this mall every week. I audibly gasped when you found that napkin holder. I collect those and look there every week for those. You were in the right place at the right time thanks for sharing.
So bummed I napped through the video I've been fighting a nasty flu. My youngest daughter Nikki is a doctor so she got me on the healing path ❤️ feeling better enough to watch this video 😊 as always great video you 2 guys. Thank you George and Xeno
I grew up about a mile from Pilgrim glass. I no longer live there, but love to add to my pilgrim glass collection. I just bought two bedside pilgrim glass lamps! side note- that is an old big lots store you were in :) so excited to see you where I grew up!
Love your videos! As a WV glass collector, the Pilgrim info in this one is super interesting! As the daughter of a Kanawha county native, the correct pronunciation is Kuh-NAW-uh (with the most slight “uh”, almost inaudible).
I live 5 miles from there. I have been a few times. It’s rather large. A lot of new but there is vintage also. This must have been before the snow… Enjoy you George!!!
Hello George. I am pretty sure the whale is Canuck Pottery, maybe their Evangeline line. The darker clay and that rich orange yellowish colour is one of their glazes. It is a really striking glaze combo. I have never seen the whale piece before though. That is nifty. Maybe there are other Canadian viewers that know a little more than me, to confirm that. 😅
George i grew up in flower shops ... Those fenton vases had to do also with FTD or Telafloral designs They were in the order catalogue to choose from ... I have one in my cupboard and probably lots of hospital patients do too anyone who received flowers with get well cards from your local Florist . Lol Back in the day the back room shelves were covered with Hall, Hull and McCoy pots for floral arrangements and plants ... Like a ton lol
Good evening, George. That mahogany etagere was nice, and I liked the small, three shelf half-table next to it. I could use that one. There were some fire hose nozzels, on a lower shelf where the Blenko twin-spout pitcher was that caught my eye. Those banquet lamps were really pretty. I liked the oak hall tree. It almost had a Mission look to it. Loved that frame with the portrait in it. Was that a cast iron doorstop that was in a floral pattern? I liked that piece. The shelf unit the owls were on is something I could definitely use. I hate to see old oil lamps that've been monkied with and electrified. It's a ruin. I have one of those McCoy grape vases. There was a couple really pretty Victorian side tables there. They looked to be a matching pair. There was a rooster planter, on the shelf above the Nippon chocolate pot, that I'd like to have. There were several items there that caught my eye. Thanks for taking us along!
I have the glass top, oblong little bamboo table, that comes with two chairs, in a warm caramel tone. The front and back of mine has rattan panelling, though. I use the table to house my hifi component stereo system and it looks fab with large, potted ferns and speakers on stands on either side of it. I think it looks more interesting than modern consoles. The chairs sit on the deck outside.
Hi pogo . We live thirty minutes from atl airport we only had two inches of snow. But the week was cold . It was pretty .I liked it so I could boots n sweaters
I am 20 min east of Cinci and 15 min from OH River. It's hilly with lots of trees. I can tell u 11 in. Means u can feel snow going in your boots! 😂 snow angles are easy to make but getting up is not so easy 😂
The Jousting Knights look like some of the book plates I have purchased at auction from England; I sold some similar pieces that were horse armor and got $34.00 each, unframed but in rigid top loaders.
The Smurfs are actually from Belgium not Germany. They are calles ' Les Schtroumphes'. It is quite possble they came to the US via Germany due to the large number of American soldiers passing through as they are well loved in Germany and Schleich made the figurines.
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (mistake turkey blossom warfare blade until bachelor fall squeeze today flee guitar). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
unfortunately us Germans cannot claim the smurfs. They were created in 1958 by Peyo - an author and graphic designer from Belgium. Original french name: Les Schtroumpfs). However, the little rubber figurines were mostly made in Germany by Schleich. I believe the animations are from the United States. I guess the friendly little fellows are just global citizens. The figurines still sometimes tempt me to take them home to add to their friends. 😇
Yes, I knew the person who created them was Belgium. So is our daughter in law, she kept many from her childhood. And she has a collection of glow worms 😊

You bet your Glass! It's always about the Glass! I'm a bit tired of glass. But I love the primitives.

My step dad had a ham radio and we had a 30 foot antenna on our garage. When he would talk on hos radio it would disrupt everyones TV signal lol
WOW, some of the prices on things were CRAZY RIDICULOUS!!! Makes me wonder if they really want to sell or not.
I love you Connie lol
George, I'm new to your channel and love your content! I believe the "keyhole footed rose bowl vase" was made by Cambridge Glass not Morgantown. 🙂
Welcome to the Nomads.

There are also tapes of them that are from Belgium and the Smurfs sing in Dutch

The queen was never regent. Her father died and she immediately assumed the throne.
