I just wanted to share this. Its been a bit since I watched this series. I got my putter length extended to 36.5 inches and with the new setup I was able to just practice much longer sessions without back pain, Huge Bonus. But statistically I keep track of all my stats so I can know where to focus my practice and better improve. To say I am putting better is an understatement, I would say now putting might be my strength in my whole game, something I would never have had the confidence to say before. But I will give a small example, Previously on just 6 foot puts I was putting in around 30% approximately. Now in my last 15 rounds I have made almost 65% of my 6 foot putts. I think this alone has given me great confidence when putting. I will say though that I have spent about 40% of my practice time allocated to just putting drills. So I might go out and practice for 3 hours and putt and chip for 2 of those, so having the knowledge is one thing but you still have to put the work in. But It really has helped and this video series has been so great, if nothing else but for pain free putting, my lower back used to hurt so much when putting. One of the best video series on all of youtube and prolly online for improving your golf game, I wish more would take this to heart to improve. Keep up the good work Ged. -Shawn
Hey Ged, Nice video and I always love to see more short game videos up. This was so awesome because I have been having lot of lower back pain during my putting practices lately. So just wanted to share this, I tried changing my posture to what was suggested by Andy Gorman, and I think I will have to have the lie angle changed on putter but overall this has been great change for me. My biggest thing I noticed was when I made the initial change It felt like I was going to pull the putt, or it felt like it was aligned too far inside. I would back out, get behind the ball use the line on the ball to make sure it was aligned right and go back. For a while it felt like I was pulling the putts but I wasn't, they started out straight and I putted much better. I guess before I might have been pushing them and now it feels more in to in on an arc. I just wanted to share this bit of info because if your like me and you are no longer over the ball it might feel different, you might feel like your alignment is off , or you might feel like you are now going to pull putts left, you want but it felt like that to me at least. I'd suggest sticking with it as this has been great. But most importantly my lower back didn't hurt at all during practice and then a full round, so I can't thank you enough for that.
That's great to hear mate. I've got the get my putter adjusted in length and lie over the next few weeks, looking forward to getting out then and practicing.

'Golfers miss more putts than they make' pretty irrelevant statement unless you qualify it with a distance, obviously if all your putts are from 50 ft you will miss more than you hole, conversely if all your putts are from 3 ft you would make more than you miss!
Of course you’ll miss more putts than you hole. Uphill putts, downhill putts, left and right breaks, 3ft putts, 30ft putts. It’s not like everyone putts on a flat surface 4ft from the hole!
I'm sure this is a bit of a gem, but the constant 'hum of agreement' every second from Ged makes it too frustrating to watch. I cant be the only one who hears it.

Im extending my irons also as my lumbar spine is gone.. really starting to feel pain
Great idea, club length is really important across the bag
Love the information given, but man, that audio quality on Andys mic is horrible.
