    This man is wise and intellent, a very powerful combination. If this can ce copied by 50 million small scale farmers all over the world, climate change can be stopped as well as rural poverty.

    • @GrowingSmall
      @GrowingSmall  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Exactly what I think as well, Marie. I'd love if the so called development assistance could promote exactly these type of designs rather than pour money into monoculture-based, 'modern' farming. It's unlikely we'll see this as agrobusiness can't profit - Caleb's food forest doesn't need chemicals or artificial fertilizers or hybrid seeds! Just got to hope that more small-scale farmers embrace permaculture food forests because they realize it can make them better off, healthier, and more secure.

      @@GrowingSmall I have come to realise that humans do not learn quickly from their mistakes. In medicine, everything that was not according to their protocols were critisised. After decades they realise that humans are body and souls, not only a body. That emotions affect the health of a person greatly and that natural medicines work just as well if not better. The same will eventually happen in farming, only when the earth force them to change. It has started already, but man is hardheaded and greedy.
