Licence to Work: Voluntary work at Morere

On Wednesday 12/6/2024, two 12EP English - License to Work classes headed out to Morere to help with park and track maintenance. They enjoyed the morning; helping the Department of Conservation clearing tracks and trails as part of their License to Work qualification: contributing to the community with voluntary work. The boys were split in three groups, two groups clearing tracks and gutters of logs, leaves and weeds while one group cleared around the office and visitor centre. The Department of Conservation treated them to a sausage sizzle and were (probably) astonished at how many sausages the boys could eat.
