@@hopewyntercooke2574 Yes it will, not to worry. The Bible doesn't say anything about cremated bodies not rising. This idea is not a part of the Christian belief in the resurrection of the dead. In Christianity, the belief in the resurrection and the afterlife is a crucial part of our faith and is not tied to the way the body is disposed of after death.
Rapture cannot happen at any moment. Read Matthew Jesus say AFTER THE TRIBULATION….and then goes on to explain the gathering of the saints. In Thessalonians Paul says the Lord won’t return UNTIL Antichrist is revealed and the great falling away takes place So unless you can point me to the Antichrist the rapture is not happening.
Had a similar experience as I hospiced my mom. I saw her shoulders raise as she took her last breath, and everything stopped in that room when she exhaled. It was “like” slow motion and warm, no fear, no trepidation and I was mesmerized by the “feeling” in the room over her bed especially. It was a holy visitation of some type and I was a speechless observer. My mind stopped thinking. Just try to make your mind stop thinking.😂 Mine is always whirring; but, at that moment and for some brief moments everything was still. She was no longer there! Gone right in front of my eyes. Her body was there of course. It was a holy moment. I believe her angel took her soul to the Lord. Stillness in my mind and that room. I’m trying to explain - ya had to experience it to believe it. Thank you Lord Jesus for saving our souls! Amen.

Normally, my actions are with purpose, but I moved with trepidation administering that dose of morphine into her open mouth under her tongue. It’s such a minuscule amount, but it does stop the labored breathing and bodily discomfort for them. I only gave 2 doses. The day before she passed under the direction of the hospice RN and the 2nd dose 3 hours before she died. I felt like I was killing her, but that was a “child’s” point of view. I was helping her not have pain. As I write this it is triggering me, but Professor, this Adjunct Professor knows that her body responded by lessening her restlessness in breathing and grimacing with pain. I pray you don’t have to do it. If you do, check and recheck the amount in the syringe for peace of mind. BTW, Hospice counts the narcotic afterwards. They also volunteer to give her last bath. Let them. You’ll be in no condition to do it. God grant you strength.

Whatever your belief in the Rapture, the important thing is to treat each moment as if it is one in which you COULD be raptured. Hold Jesus tight in your heart, share His Word, and Jesus will take care of all the rest. He is our ONLY hope in this evil world.
There is no rapture! Read Ezekiel 13! Satan comes first. Caught up means snatched by Satan. We are still in flesh bodies when Satan comes. When the true Christ comes instantly we are changed into spiritual bodies.

I must speak about this teaching no offense pastor. It is of my understanding that the passages in thessolonians is clearly when christ returns. I don't have a problem with translation however I believe you may have skipped a few that doesn't tell of a event in the theology of "rapture". Firstly I'll say the passages in thessolonians are quite clear that the event that occurs isn't some sorta secretive thing. Hence the sounds that happen prior to the event the voice of the angels the trumpet of God and so forth. Now here the translation of verse 17 The word clouds isn't refering to aspherical clouds as in what we think of. It refers to glory. It is repeated in 1 revelation when it refers to Christ coming that he comes with clouds of glory. It also refers to everyone seeing him when he does return even those that pierced him. Also the word used air in verse 17 of thessolonians which can also be translated breath. What breath? God breathed into us the breath of life and made us a living soul. So air is refering to us being in spiritual bodies. Which also aligns with 1 Corinthians 10 52 That in that last trump which is Jesus's return we are instantly change from the corruptable the human body to the uncorruptable the spiritual body in a twinkling of the eye. Instantly. So the better picture is in verse 17 when christ returns we are caught up with jesus in that glory as well in new glorified bodies. Paul even goes on in 2 thessolonians and explicitly warns of teaching that the day of the Lord that is Christ's return shall not happen until the events paul described in 2 thessolonians chapter 3. He is very clear on it. Every time the bible is talking about the day of the Lord or Christ's Its is just that there is no such thing as two returns.
Another continuing thought is about those " who aren't ready" but are saved. That's like saying you're just a little bit pregnant. Either you are or you're not. Also who are those who're called the saints who war with the antichrist, the same who'll testify when dragged into the synagogues of Satan. Who are they? Weren't they "saved enough" and left here when the "rapture" happens?
It is amazing how people absolutely convince themselves about life, a universal event that has been happening since the dawn of time wherever favourable conditions allow it to happen. Pastor Nolen, many who try to debunk the rapture are caught up on the phrase in I Corinthians 15:52 "last trumpet". In 1 Thessalonians 4: 16 it is translated "trumpet call of God" The specific one I listened to claims that the "last Trumpet" is from Revelation 11:15 . It is a question intended to challenge doctrine in a healthy way with the hope of clarity of what scripture teaches… If we created two categories of scriptures with 1 relating to the rapture, and the other relating to the first resurrection, I believe understanding rapture as well as first resurrection would be easier… By comparing the scriptures for each category, I believe we would have greater insight on how the two events relate
Revelation 20 v 6 the first resurrection .. is the culmination verse . The first resurrection started with Christ, he being the first fruits, the dead in Christ , 1THESS 4 v 16 are in the first resurrection , the 144 000 are in the first resurrection, and so on , Jesus is the first (fruits plural). But now is Christ risen from the dead , and become the firstfruits of them that slept .. 1 Cor 15 v 20. There is no ressurection at the second coming, the wicked (Tares ) are removed , then the surviving Tribulation Saints receive the King of Kings and repopulate the Millennium
The end is the end. The last trumpet is the last trumpet. The second coming is the end and only the end.. I understand all the explanation but the Bible ONLY talks about Christ 2nd coming .. not 3 times. It would be great not to live through hard times, but I wouldn’t bank on it. If Jesus return is imminent at any time, knowing to wait for the trumpet on that day, takes away the imminent return,if we don't know the day or hour, and were waiting for the trumpet on that day?

It is said by people who believe at the rapture, Jesus' feet never touch the ground. Matthew 24:29-31 is commonly known as the second coming of Christ by pretribulationist. In verse 31 of the same chapter, it says he sends his angels to gather his elect. My question to you is. Does Jesus' feet touch the ground in Matt 24:31?
Nobody is going to disappear, all men and women and children go through the tribulation. At the end when the 7 years is over that is when the dead and living are caught up in the sky. Nobody is rapture before the end of the 7 years and final battle.
So you think God will subject his children to that amt of suffering? Paul spoke about being caught up into the 3rd heaven. He states he does not know if he was in his body or not. I use to listen to Sheppards Chapel & they teach no rapture. However, what I've been studying might indicate that theory might be incorrect. When the Jews denied Jesus it became the time of the gentiles & Paul witness them. But this time of the gentiles comes to an end when the last gentile believes. The letters to the 7 churches will be fulfilled and then the temporary favor of God will come to an end & he will focus again on Israel. Then until they cru out Jesus is the Messiah he won't come back. During the last 3 1/2 yrs there will be those who will flee to Petra. God will provide for them there. Petra is basically in Jordan & for awhile the forces against them will be at bay. Eventually the forces against them will disrespect Jordans boundaries and go forth. The showdown. It is deep and intense and we really need to chose for ourselves. So personally I hope there is a rapture. For all waters to be polluted, fish dying, meteors hitting, earth off is axis, skies rolled like a scroll, flesh dying and hanging off of our bodies, tongues welded to the roof of our mouths from thirst, none of these things sound like good happenings. So I pray there is a rapture ( caught up) event. There are other scripture that tell of those who will perservere through to the end. Those who becpme believers during that time & they make it how I have no clue. It goes on to say what they will be wearing in heaven to distinguish them from the others. Maybe yes, maybe no. The only real point of contention among theologians is not IS there a rapture, but WHEN. Pastor Nolan teaches a pretrib rapture, because he (and many other serious believers) believe that is what best matches the scriptures and makes the most sense. This might be wrong, but while the Bible says there's a rapture before the end, it doesn't specifically say when; however there's a LOT of hints and circumstantial evidence in the old and new testaments that it is a pre-tribulation rapture. Personally this is what I also believe, but I'm prepared for it to be a Pre-Wrath Rapture if that's the way it actually works out. However, we are told to stay vigilant and watch for the Blessed Hope that comes without warning; not to count down the days of the last half of the Great Tribulation looking for a last minute rescue of a handful of survivors that have (somehow) managed to evade the massacres of believers by the antichrist. Yeah, comfort each other with that, if you are one of the few that makes it that far. Seriously, it's a deep issue, and while it's been around since the start of the Church, (and no matter what you have heard to the contrary, it has been) it's only really been seriously examined for a few hundred years. I truly believe that is because it's something that only NEEDS to be understood fully in the later days, and that's where we are. You can argue that point as well, and it might be another hundred years away, but if so I pity anyone who has to live between now and then. But really the rapture is just not an issue that we as believers need to argue or divide over, but rather one we should discuss, research, and explore, if we are interested in it; because for the most part, it's a secondary in house issue that doesn't effect anything regarding salvation, no matter what some people say. It might or might not be goofy theology, but I reckon we'll all find out before too much longer. 🙏✝️👑✝️🙏

John 6:40 For this is the will of my Father, that EVERYONE who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the LAST DAY.” John 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the LAST DAY. John 6:54 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the LAST DAY.

I'm sure you have heard the question I'm going to ask before, so I'm hoping you can point me to Scripture that answers, or if you have a video teaching it already. But how is the rapture different than the second coming? Are you saying the "rapture" occurs before the second coming described in Matthew 24:29-31? Genuinely trying to understand.
We as mere humans can't comprehend the concept of a Celestial Almighty God, after all we kill each other, betray each other's confidence, unless our God is EL Shaddai the devil of the Torah/Old Testament.
Unfortunately the biggest problem with pre-trib escapism is that God is known for bringing people thru trials and tribulatons. Even God's own son didn't escape it. Jesus even asked him if there was another way. The saints of the tribulation. Those that are killed for not receiving the mark etc. If the believers have all left how is it then that these unbelievers then all of a sudden start to believe? Certainly there are passages that say two are standing in a field, one is taken the other is left? Out of all past prophets of the bible there are only a very small few who were taken and didn't face death. Enoch, Elijah & maybe Moses. Tribulation witnesses are expected to be none other than Elijah and Moses, both will be killed (who ever they wind up being) by the anti christ and they will remain in the streets for 3 1/2 days unburied. After that event there won't be a significant number who escaped death. For God said, the wages of sin is death. For believers in Jesus we awaken to say O' death where is thy sting? Escapism is dangerous because it could cause you to fall away. God will test your faith like no one on this rock. Jesus said, those that call upon the lord will be saved. Make sure your heart is in the right place otherwise you're not going to be truly prepared for what is coming. If events start occuring and you're still here *What Then?*

Yes, I believe that. But I do believe that all members of the church who are saved during this dispensation are raptured, even if they are carnal at that time. I’m not condoning that, but I do believe that.
This is what I perceive the rapture to be like: it’s not the disappearance of the body, it’s the separation from the body, the spirit and human flesh are separate, along with what we call the brain, when things get tough in the world, and there’s many worlds here on earth, I’m talking about individuals, let’s take for instance a soldier who is in battle, he is shared physically with his body, brain and spirit or soul, he’s seen a lot of action and unnecessary things while in battle, he can lose his mind, and his spirit will temporarily leave him. He blacks out and he now becomes mentally unstable. He’s operating on his mind and body only, and for as long as he’s alive his spirit or his will, will still remain up until his death or until he goes through a fight or flight situation in which he/she regains their spiritual strength back. Death and being alive are perspectives of the eye, when a person physically dies, everyone else will see that as death, but said person’s energy or spirit is taken away to a dream like dimension and will not feel death, but will feel more like a dream. This is a place where time and space doesn’t exist, as they travel back through time to be resurrected back with their body as the day they were born, and that’s what we call being born again.

In Christianity, the belief in the resurrection and the afterlife is a crucial part of our faith and is not tied to the way the body is disposed of after death.

Rapture cannot happen at any moment. Read Matthew Jesus say AFTER THE TRIBULATION….and then goes on to explain the gathering of the saints. In Thessalonians Paul says the Lord won’t return UNTIL Antichrist is revealed and the great falling away takes place So unless you can point me to the Antichrist the rapture is not happening.
The resurrection and rapture happen at essentially the same time and they are on the last AFTER THE RAPTURE !! See John 6.

Had a similar experience as I hospiced my mom. I saw her shoulders raise as she took her last breath, and everything stopped in that room when she exhaled. It was “like” slow motion and warm, no fear, no trepidation and I was mesmerized by the “feeling” in the room over her bed especially. It was a holy visitation of some type and I was a speechless observer. My mind stopped thinking. Just try to make your mind stop thinking.😂 Mine is always whirring; but, at that moment and for some brief moments everything was still. She was no longer there! Gone right in front of my eyes. Her body was there of course. It was a holy moment. I believe her angel took her soul to the Lord. Stillness in my mind and that room. I’m trying to explain - ya had to experience it to believe it. Thank you Lord Jesus for saving our souls! Amen.

Normally, my actions are with purpose, but I moved with trepidation administering that dose of morphine into her open mouth under her tongue. It’s such a minuscule amount, but it does stop the labored breathing and bodily discomfort for them. I only gave 2 doses. The day before she passed under the direction of the hospice RN and the 2nd dose 3 hours before she died. I felt like I was killing her, but that was a “child’s” point of view. I was helping her not have pain. As I write this it is triggering me, but Professor, this Adjunct Professor knows that her body responded by lessening her restlessness in breathing and grimacing with pain. I pray you don’t have to do it. If you do, check and recheck the amount in the syringe for peace of mind. BTW, Hospice counts the narcotic afterwards. They also volunteer to give her last bath. Let them. You’ll be in no condition to do it. God grant you strength.

I miss being part of a live body (church) but now know we are the church. I was too advanced for my old pastor and he refused to post on the Rapture, The Second Coming, (even Revelations). Downtown Toronto, went to 12 churches but evangelicals are way up north and I disabled don't drive. I am being fed full meals spiritually, daily but am alone.

He is lying to you. Read Ezekiel 13, God is against people teaching they will fly away. Satan comes first acting as God but he is in disguised and we are still in flesh bodies. The question is when is the last Trumpet that’s the key
I must speak about this teaching no offense pastor. It is of my understanding that the passages in thessolonians is clearly when christ returns. I don't have a problem with translation however I believe you may have skipped a few that doesn't tell of a event in the theology of "rapture".
Firstly I'll say the passages in thessolonians are quite clear that the event that occurs isn't some sorta secretive thing. Hence the sounds that happen prior to the event the voice of the angels the trumpet of God and so forth. Now here the translation of verse 17 The word clouds isn't refering to aspherical clouds as in what we think of. It refers to glory. It is repeated in 1 revelation when it refers to Christ coming that he comes with clouds of glory. It also refers to everyone seeing him when he does return even those that pierced him. Also the word used air in verse 17 of thessolonians which can also be translated breath. What breath? God breathed into us the breath of life and made us a living soul. So air is refering to us being in spiritual bodies. Which also aligns with 1 Corinthians 10 52 That in that last trump which is Jesus's return we are instantly change from the corruptable the human body to the uncorruptable the spiritual body in a twinkling of the eye. Instantly. So the better picture is in verse 17 when christ returns we are caught up with jesus in that glory as well in new glorified bodies.
Paul even goes on in 2 thessolonians and explicitly warns of teaching that the day of the Lord that is Christ's return shall not happen until the events paul described in 2 thessolonians chapter 3. He is very clear on it. Every time the bible is talking about the day of the Lord or Christ's Its is just that there is no such thing as two returns.
Another continuing thought is about those " who aren't ready" but are saved. That's like saying you're just a little bit pregnant. Either you are or you're not. Also
who are those who're called the saints who war with the antichrist, the same who'll testify when dragged into the synagogues of Satan. Who are they? Weren't they "saved enough" and left here when the "rapture" happens?
It is amazing how people absolutely convince themselves about life, a universal event that has been happening since the dawn of time wherever favourable conditions allow it to happen. We are born we live a life and we die, its a universal law for everything, we are not excluded from that universal law. We are nothing special.

Pastor Nolen, many who try to debunk the rapture are caught up on the phrase in I Corinthians 15:52 "last trumpet". In 1 Thessalonians 4: 16 it is translated "trumpet call of God" The specific one I listened to claims that the "last Trumpet" is from Revelation 11:15 . If we created two categories of scriptures with 1 relating to the rapture, and the other relating to the first resurrection, I believe understanding rapture as well as first resurrection would be easier…
By comparing the scriptures for each category, I believe we would have greater insight on how the two events relate
Revelation 20 v 6 the first resurrection .. is the culmination verse .
The first resurrection started with Christ, he being the first fruits, the dead in Christ , 1THESS 4 v 16 are in the first resurrection , the 144 000 are in the first resurrection, and so on , Jesus is the first (fruits plural).
But now is Christ risen from the dead , and become the firstfruits of them that slept ..
1 Cor 15 v 20.
There is no ressurection at the second coming, the wicked (Tares ) are removed , then the surviving Tribulation Saints receive the King of Kings and repopulate the Millennium

The Bible is silent on this matter but it makes sense that the children in the womb would be taken being innocent.

It is said by people who believe at the rapture, Jesus' feet never touch the ground. Matthew 24:29-31 is commonly known as the second coming of Christ by pretribulationist. In verse 31 of the same chapter, it says he sends his angels to gather his elect. My question to you is. Does Jesus' feet touch the ground in Matt 24:31?
Nobody is going to disappear, all men and women and children go through the tribulation. At the end when the 7 years is over that is when the dead and living are caught up in the sky. Nobody is rapture before the end of the 7 years and final battle.
So you think God will subject his children to that amt of suffering? Paul spoke about being caught up into the 3rd heaven. He states he does not know if he was in his body or not. I use to listen to Sheppards Chapel & they teach no rapture. However, what I've been studying might indicate that theory might be incorrect. When the Jews denied Jesus it became the time of the gentiles & Paul witness them. But this time of the gentiles comes to an end when the last gentile believes. The letters to the 7 churches will be fulfilled and then the temporary favor of God will come to an end & he will focus again on Israel. Then until they cru out Jesus is the Messiah he won't come back. During the last 3 1/2 yrs there will be those who will flee to Petra. God will provide for them there. Petra is basically in Jordan & for awhile the forces against them will be at bay. Eventually the forces against them will disrespect Jordans boundaries and go forth. The showdown. It is deep and intense and we really need to chose for ourselves. So personally I hope there is a rapture. For all waters to be polluted, fish dying, meteors hitting, earth off is axis, skies rolled like a scroll, flesh dying and hanging off of our bodies, tongues welded to the roof of our mouths from thirst, none of these things sound like good happenings. So I pray there is a rapture ( caught up) event. There are other scripture that tell of those who will perservere through to the end. Those who becpme believers during that time & they make it how I have no clue. It goes on to say what they will be wearing in heaven to distinguish them from the others. Anyhow I don't know you personally so all I can say is at least thank you for receiving my text. I have always carried a certainty of how much truth can I handle. Maybe yes, maybe no. The only real point of contention among theologians is not IS there a rapture, but WHEN.
Pastor Nolan teaches a pretrib rapture, because he (and many other serious believers) believe that is what best matches the scriptures and makes the most sense.
This might be wrong, but while the Bible says there's a rapture before the end, it doesn't specifically say when; however there's a LOT of hints and circumstantial evidence in the old and new testaments that it is a pre-tribulation rapture. Personally this is what I also believe, but I'm prepared for it to be a Pre-Wrath Rapture if that's the way it actually works out. However, we are told to stay vigilant and watch for the Blessed Hope that comes without warning; not to count down the days of the last half of the Great Tribulation looking for a last minute rescue of a handful of survivors that have (somehow) managed to evade the massacres of believers by the antichrist. Yeah, comfort each other with that, if you are one of the few that makes it that far.
Seriously, it's a deep issue, and while it's been around since the start of the Church, (and no matter what you have heard to the contrary, it has been) it's only really been seriously examined for a few hundred years. I truly believe that is because it's something that only NEEDS to be understood fully in the later days, and that's where we are. You can argue that point as well, and it might be another hundred years away, but if so I pity anyone who has to live between now and then.
But really the rapture is just not an issue that we as believers need to argue or divide over, but rather one we should discuss, research, and explore, if we are interested in it; because for the most part, it's a secondary in house issue that doesn't effect anything regarding salvation, no matter what some people say. It might or might not be goofy theology, but I reckon we'll all find out before too much longer.

I am confused and I mean no disrespect (because I love your teaching!) Here is my confusion, you stated that the rapture and the coming of Christ are two separate events yet you present Matthew 24:40 as the rapture when it is clearly the second coming. please explain?

Matthew 24:29-31 is commonly known as the second coming of Christ by pretribulationist. In verse 31 of the same chapter, it says he sends his angels to gather his elect. My question to you is. Does Jesus' feet touch the ground?

Jesus himself made it very clear when he would raise us up.
John 6:39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of All that he has given me, but raise it up on the LAST DAY.
John 6:40 For this is the will of my Father, that EVERYONE who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the LAST DAY.”
John 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the LAST DAY.

I'm sure you have heard the question I'm going to ask before, so I'm hoping you can point me to Scripture that answers, or if you have a video teaching it already. But how is the rapture different than the second coming? Are you saying the "rapture" occurs before the second coming described in Matthew 24:29-31? Genuinely trying to understand.

We as mere humans can't comprehend the concept of a Celestial Almighty God, after all we kill each other, betray each other's confidence, unless our God is EL Shaddai the devil of the Torah/Old Testament.
Unfortunately the biggest problem with pre-trib escapism is that God is known for bringing people thru trials and tribulatons. Even God's own son didn't escape it. Jesus even asked him if there was another way. The saints of the tribulation. Those that are killed for not receiving the mark etc. If the believers have all left how is it then that these unbelievers then all of a sudden start to believe? Certainly there are passages that say two are standing in a field, one is taken the other is left? Out of all past prophets of the bible there are only a very small few who were taken and didn't face death. Enoch, Elijah & maybe Moses. Tribulation witnesses are expected to be none other than Elijah and Moses, both will be killed (who ever they wind up being) by the anti christ and they will remain in the streets for 3 1/2 days unburied. After that event there won't be a significant number who escaped death. For God said, the wages of sin is death. For believers in Jesus we awaken to say O' death where is thy sting?
Escapism is dangerous because it could cause you to fall away. God will test your faith like no one on this rock. Jesus said, those that call upon the lord will be saved. Make sure your heart is in the right place otherwise you're not going to be truly prepared for what is coming. If events start occuring and you're still here *What Then?*

This is what I perceive the rapture to be like: it’s not the disappearance of the body, it’s the separation from the body, the spirit and human flesh are separate, along with what we call the brain, when things get tough in the world, and there’s many worlds here on earth, I’m talking about individuals, let’s take for instance a soldier who is in battle, he is shared physically with his body, brain and spirit or soul, he’s seen a lot of action and unnecessary things while in battle, he can lose his mind, and his spirit will temporarily leave him. He blacks out and he now becomes mentally unstable. He’s operating on his mind and body only, and for as long as he’s alive his spirit or his will, will still remain up until his death or until he goes through a fight or flight situation in which he/she regains their spiritual strength back. Death and being alive are perspectives of the eye, when a person physically dies, everyone else will see that as death, but said person’s energy or spirit is taken away to a dream like dimension and will not feel death, but will feel more like a dream. This is a place where time and space doesn’t exist, as they travel back through time to be resurrected back with their body as the day they were born, and that’s what we call being born again.
