I had to watch again, to calm me down? Dud exact same thing yesterday, "mountain walking with a longbow " but this morning I got mad at "Hollywood Hunting ", telling me I need to buy a new tractor & 3 attachments, couple $000 of feed&seed, etc, in order to have my deer herd ready for this fall! Never wanted to own a deer herd, just be free to hunt, roam, and enjoy all that. And now I'm 65, 40 years coal mining, genetic lung disease, numerous bad injuries, +, and I say, "Thank you Lord, I'm still able to go do this, yes slower, but actually love it more than ever, because I know how Blessed I am, and trying to relay the same messages as you Robert! It doesn't get any better than this simple old grass roots hunting! And profitable means a lot more than a set of big antlers!
I have heard of water and chestnut oaks but we don’t have them in this part of eastern Oklahoma. I definitely agree if you find a good stand of( post oak or white oaks you will find the deer if the oaks made.) On my place the acorns are gone but the deer are eating the pecans. The deer don’t ever start feeding on pecans until after the first of the year when the acorns are gone. We have a few hogs pass thru occasionally. Thanks for taking us on your hunt.
Great to walk with you again. I've been out four times now. Scouting to learn new places for whitetail and taking my longbow for hogs. One of these days I'm sure I'm gonna trip over a hog. God bless!
Good day, and am sure glad to see you with a Sunset Hill, #1 you've been vocal you wanted one, #2 we get to see it in action! Anxious to hear all about it!
I'm glad for you Brother I remember you saying that you wanted to get your hands on a Sunset Hill . I've really been wanting to try a Hill style Longbow but no one in my part of Arkansas shoots em and I'm a lefty . I like the green glass.
Another great video! Welcome to the Sunset Hill crowd. Love the green glass-maybe you won’t have to camo paint this one. Tell us more about the bow or are you going to do a separate video on it?
Another nice video Robert glad you finally got you a Sunset Hill longbow happy hunting!

Beautiful Country, thanks Robert.

Rc happy you got the sunset hill longbow like to have one myself shoot straight
Say a prayer of gratitude every night. Doing that forced me to see the blessings I had taken for granted for so long.
Boy that magnolia tree looked like cows pruned it and looked like a good place for a deer scrape
Get em RC...
Dadgum hogs anyhow. Tell us the hunting conditions. Temp, wind direction, all of it!
