NOT to pass thru but to sit between us. Literally wriggles his body so we have to make room. And because of his long legs his backside is on one step and his front legs rest two stairs down. I so love it. That describes our house with our dog every Saturday night. Only I'm Mike. Our dog gets upset because my husband and I hang out on the couch and just wants mom (actually I think he would prefer the couch to himself). He tries to be fair by sprawling out on mom and a paw on dad.

You are absolutely right. Mine throws hisself to the ground like a child an throws a fit because he can’t have his way an ear his teeth cleaners as snacks. I have to hide the bag or he will sneak some out of there an run off with them.
Oh if that’s not what a bulldog wants they will still cry till they get what they want. Trust me almost 15 years with bulldogs it’s just easier to let them win. You can watch tv and relax in peace and quiet. Happy bulldog, happy life!

If my husband has laid down in his office for a nap and I dare to walk by, the dog will have special glares and words that are only for me. Recently I was in the Emergency room and he went home to take a nap while we we were waiting on test results and waiting on word from the the larger hospital. As we were talking before he left, he mention calming downing the wife and trying to explain where he had been all night. We had some explaining to do to the nurses who had taken care of me all night about the wife and mistress thing. Love you guys. Glad the blizzard went north. Take care.
