Your right that would be for oil feild or a gas plant i live up in northwest bc see alit of that stuff around here dont see many tandem axel trackors around here everything is tridrive
Wow, I happened upon your stuff awhile ago… Definitely enjoying your content.. Now I don’t normally post comments, but I will just say one thing.. Being a bit old school.. I’d take your ECU, along with the lump under the hood and put it on a stand and replace it with A 6nz, C-15,18 or anything that Has the name of CAT! Simple as that lol
@@VaughnDallasVance I totally agree.. There’s something about old school mechanical set of Cat’s. When I was young, I got to drive a Pete Glider with a 3408 with a brake saver/oil retarder.. Pulled like nothing else, but heavy as hell.. If you’re going into heavy haul.. That’s the motor I’d try to find.
I have never sent off a ECM OR ECU . I have plenty of friends that have.some cat Cummins and Detroit. From their experience it's about 50 percent good 50 percent bad. The good explains it self. The other was just for the money. Be very careful on your choices. Find a good 60 series shop that specializes in them. I wouldn't trust the internet salesman.

I’ve been going back and forth on a b model. Something about the mechanical engines makes me happy

Talk to Tim Gentry he knows a guy that can fix it
You build it I'll drive it for u. 20 yrs in heavy haul. Run livestock on days off from heavy equipment lol
That day is fast approaching
The engine is pronounced walk-a-shaw. Very reliable industrial engine.
Appreciate the clarity, I learn something new everyday it seems
What about Stewart Stevenson they do a lot of Detroit motor work and I bet that they will be able to help you out
