I love your technique so you add texture medium first then glue not the glue first and cover with black gesso. I like the use of metallic paints because mica sprays the splatter goes every where. Dry brush painting is what I'm used too your work inspired to experiment one. I feel really inspired excellent work.

I have watched quite a lot of your tutorials now...they are so inspiring...the end results are truly awesome..must go and try myself, what a way to use up bits and pieces. Hi Katja! Love your videos! What were the paint colors that you used? I couldn't see what the last two colors were from Art Alchemy!
culinarygirl3 the blue-green color is the Metallique Emerald Green, and the purple color was either Metallique Black Berry or Metallique Dark Velvet.. I use those paints frequently so I was able to recognize them. Hope that helps 🎀

Hello! It depends what the use of the project. Most of my projects are not sealed and it works fine.
WHY PUT 2 LAYERS OF COPPER ON ...THEN COVER IT UP..I LOVE DOING THESE MADE ALL MY SISTERS ONE FOR CHRISTMAS...
Sometimes you dont know what the next layer will be. So when I am not happy I work and paint until I am happy with the result.

I love the project. It's beautiful. But I don't understand why y'all mixed media artists choose to waste so much product when planning would save so much AND be helpful to us beginners without the backing to afford such luxury.
Thank you Debbie! Sometimes when I do planning it doesnt work in real time. I like to have idea when I start and during the process it can change.
