Here is the kit I used, I bought a cheap cable and sheath on Amazon with a close to 90 degree elbow to clear the coolant/dipstick tube (can’t remember atm) but I believe a top mount kit will clear the hood closing ( I did bottom for looks and just to be safe if the top mount didn’t clear the hood closing) www.piercemanifolds.com/Bottom_Mount_Linkage_PM3715_p/pm3715.htm

How did u do the timing advance
I left the vacuum advance disconnected, and set the timing to factory for the ABA witch I believe is 8+ degrees BTDC
There is also a centrifugal advance at that kind of distributors.. i think its something like 24 degrees at 4000rpm max
