Today the death sentence was signed for a lot of Russian husbands and sons. Ukrainians are fighting for their lands and they will do it to their last soldier. For them, this is a holy war. And almost the whole world supports them.
Hitler, too, could not stop in his madness and eventually, together with his entourage, killed millions of his own and others' people. And he ended up just shooting himself.
Illiterate politics in our country first started destroying our economy and is now destroying our strong population - our sons and husbands. We, the Russian people, do not gain anything from such actions, but only continue to lose: the economy, people and face for the entire world community.
A friend of mine told me the other day that his nephew had recently returned from the front, and then only because only 11 of the 75-man unit survived.
Our government does what it wants, threatening the world with nuclear war, and Russian people with prison, i.e. it just keeps people in fear. Is this normal?!

The other day, the American government openly stated that in the event of the use of nuclear weapons by the Russian military, nothing will stop them. Сегодня был подписан смертный приговор очень многим русским мужьям и сыновьям. Украинцы бьются за свои земли и они будут это делать до последнего своего солдата. Для них - это священная война. И практически весь мир их поддерживает.
Гитлер тоже не мог остановиться в своем безумии и в итоге вместе со своим окружением погубил миллионы своих и чужих людей. И все закончилось тем, что он просто застрелился.
Неграмотная политика в нашей стране сначала начала уничтожать нашу экономику и теперь уничтожает наше сильное население. От таких действий мы, русские люди, ничего не выигрываем, а только продолжаем терять: экономику, людей и лицо для всего мирового сообщества.
Мне знакомый на днях рассказал, что его племянник на днях вернулся с фронта, и то, только потому, что из подразделения в 75 человек выжило только 11.
Наше правительство делает, что хочет, угрожая миру ядерной войной, а русским людям тюрьмой, т.е. просто держит людей в страхе. Разве это нормально?!
Не секрет, что ядерным оружием обладают не только русские. На днях американское правительство открыто заявило, что в случае применения русскими военными ядерного оружия, их уже ничего не будет останавливать. Цитирую из евроновостей: "Генсек НАТО заявил, что РФ не сможет одержать победу в ядерном конфликте"

The thing that strikes me is that of the Russian people I’ve seen denouncing their war on Ukraine, very few of them cite the suffering and murder of the Ukrainian people as one of their reasons.
Every time I want to feel compassion for a people being led to disaster, I think about that: they think it's all about them -- as if the Ukranians' pain was nothing to them. For a painful as the U.S. fight in Vietnam is/was, who here remembers that the Vietnamese suffered multiples more? I don't; shame on me.

Exactly. My wife is Russian and had to be told by work associates to stop smiling after she came back from the US as it was freaking them out. It doesn't mean Russians don't smile - just that there isn't an expectation of it. I would assume that it is similar for Ukrainians.
