Yes, definitely good practice! And I'm also glad we are using a 90mins limit knowing now that the puzzle might be trickier!

Great job on the speed puzzle. Fur is always a struggle for me too.
It's just so funny how a person can be quite good on most of the image and then bam...other parts are just so tricky! I was pleased overall with my time.
I'm really loving the mystery with none of you knowing what the puzzle is for this battle. I wonder if it would improve timing to just start shape sorting from the beginning? Maybe I'll try that just to practice. I hope Alison's ears are wrong and it's not a nature puzzle 😅🧩💙

OMG 90 minutes....at least i will have some money to buy it then 🤣 what is wrong with piece sorting? I do it all the time whem i get so far into the puzzle...but then that depends on the puzzle...im doing The Kind Dragon from Eeboo 🐨
I don't mind sorting by piece shape but it usually means the puzzle is tricky and this is the only way to work out an area. When I puzzle with Alison, I'll be like - should I piece sort - and she will be like - not yet... hehehehe The Kind Dragon from Eeboo is a nice image! 💜🧩

It feels like we have to wait for ever for reveal, so excited 🤩 im just wondering how i can distract my spouse so he wont notice when i get more puzzles... 🤔

So I now what you meant when you said there was a twist to BOTYP 4. Personally I feel this has spoiled the fun to some degree. Those of us who aren't fast will be counting pieces after the 90 minutes. 🧩 Hopefully Michelle is correct and the puzzle will be available worldwide. 🗺 Anyway it will be an interesting birthday weekend for me as I celebrate it on the 30th. I shall be interested to see what the jigsaw turns out to be.
You don't have to do the puzzle if you don't want to. You can always just do it for fun and not time yourself. I want to change things up every so often so it doesn't become repetitive. This Battle was also in support of the Worlds Competition and everything that Alfonso has done and continues to do to support many of our channels. There may be many people who need to count pieces, or none at all - we will have to wait and see.

@@fortheloveofpuzzles I'd love to have another Natural edition puzzle. I've looked on the website and they have couple of great natural and animal version that would be great for practicing before Worlds. Cannot wait for BOTYP puzzle reveal🤩
@@leviscarroll There are some Nature Edition ones that maybe aren't too bad - I'm just still scared from Lupins hehehehe

Puzzling is so much fun! Maybe it would be nice to have in the google form not only the number of pieces that didn’t made it to the puzzle in the 90 minutes, but also the total time to complete the puzzle, so we can compare how slow we are. 😂😂 🧩
@margarosa4879 Yes, that would be good. For me doing this under World competition rules spoils it, as I know that the likelihood of me getting a puzzle done in 90 minutes or less is very small indeed. I do time some puzzles but don't do them at top speed! 😃🧩
@@puzzlepiece9509 If it spoils it for you then just don't do it. No one it forced to participate. You can always just do the puzzle for fun and not time yourself at all.
Good suggestion but the Google form has already been created and a lot of work and time goes into planning and preparing these things. All of our videos are already recorded and done in which we explain the rules. We don't have time to redo them all. If I do another Battle with a time limit rule, I'll consider adding in a total time as well. But we also only have so much room on the post to write out all the information. This all takes a lot of time and planning and we don't want to keep having the same rules for every Battle. I hope you understand.
