i think the audience got slightly tired of applauding as this was the 16th song they have heard remember she performed for like 2 hours , singers like mariah and whitney have such strong voices and they need a lot of rest or else they wont recover from the strain of the huge notes they have to carry and sustain so some notes are synched that could potentially hurt their voice but most of this performance is live u could tell that she didnt have enough breath for that one night before the chorus

Those long notes in the finally choruses are lip synch'd. She isn't doing those live at all. The tone of her voices changes from the verses she *is* doing live to the choruses. It's a slight tonal shift but it is there.
