Scripture indicates the oil had spices and fragrance added, most likely olive oil. There are churches today that anoint with oil mainly for sicknesses. Church of Christ/Christian church the elders anoint, deacons serve communion. I've only seen it done once in a church, mainly done in homes or hospitals and not something to be trifled with since it's God's assume power you are petitioning! God Bless
