this month i got stranded in Ireland. featuring Wilbur Soot, James Marriott, Jack Manifold, TommyInnit & many more
all footage captured November 2022 in various locations around the UK & Ireland

I literally remember- because I forgot to turn my alarm on for school, my father had to wake me up, and I was wearing my headphones. He took them off, and I had it on full volume, so all he heard was, “FUCKING INCONSISTENT” 😭😭

@@willowssanity as hilarious as that is, I must add that I am quite concerned for the well being of your ears. All ears are different and I personally have difficulties understanding what my friends are saying in crowded areas if I've been wearing earphones for too long... however, I _heard_ (pun intended) that our generation's hearing is deteriorating and is more likely to get tinnitus (and similar hearing-loss conditions) due to headphones so we gotta be careful either way (dunno why I phrased all of that so nicely but oh well, its 2am anyways)

I’ve been trying to lessen the use of my volume but with all the chaos between switching from either parent’s house, constant fighting or just *something* between siblings (in which I have about 8), and being sort of empathic (not only catching onto people’s feelings, but feeling them also. It’s mostly stress) kinda just ruins it all. Music is really all that calms me down despite the tone or whatnot, and because of the constant noise, it makes it seem impossible to not just turn the volume all the way up to drown the chaos out. :]
But I totally understand because I have over 100 headphone notifications (telling me to lessen my volume) and I’m starting to not be able to hear when some people are talking too slurred or mumbly.
The premier was so great to watch! It was an unexpected and wonderful surprise for this afternoon. I normally don't comment on most stuff, but I really wanted to say that these videos truly to help me so much. They help me see that even if my life is going to crap, I can find the beauty in it, the calm, and the fun memories. It reminds me *one day* I'll finally have the calm to enjoy life to the fullest, maybe even on a rocky shore beach. Thank you so much, all of you of Lovejoy, Tommy, James, Jack, everyone, thank you. These videos help me more than you could ever know
ash i thought you should know that when i told my mam “someone from lovejoy is stuck in ireland lol” she said in a very serious, irish mammy way: “why didn’t you tell me, we could’ve looked after him!”

I miss the monthly vlogs, they provided a really nice structure to my life :( I'm glad lovejoy is getting to tour so many places and make so much music, but just a 30 second clip cobbled together at the end of each month would be better than nothing imo

Watching these vlogs makes me realize the Lovejoy gang has such a simplistic life up in Brighton. Tommy and Ash's vlogs are the only reasons why I want to fly up there.
