I just love the way Aussie's call it as it is. They always seem to be able cut straight through the bull so you know exactly where you stand. What a top comedian, definitely going to search out more of his material.
I was stuck next to a young German fellow on a Lufthansa A340 to Frankfurt and no lie, he started spouting off about the German national football team literally right after wheels up. Team chemistry, attacking formations, practice routines, etc. I swear the dude must've been part of the coaching staff. Anyway, I tried everything passively to end his little diatribe because he was getting worked up over....well, I have no idea why he was getting upset. I tried reading, fake sleeping, fake snoring, humming loudly to myself but he continued to go on and on. Jeez, read the room, fella.
Anyway, I finally couldn't take it anymore when I told him straight up I much preferred rugby and ice hockey and personally didn't like soccer at all and couldn't give two well-you-know-what about the World Cup. Ah......blissful quiet, peace for the remaining four hours of the flight...pretty darn awkward afterwards perhaps, but peaceful...

Jim Jefferies has done nothing but make me laugh..sometimes hysterically, at everything he says. He's brilliiant. He's insightful, he's perfectly timed with his delivery....and I can say....I'm American and his take ..don't know if you've seen it, but its amazing...his take on American Second amendment rights is just....incredible. Middle seat always the worst. Not only do you not get the cool views of the window or the leg room from the aisle, you’re stuck between the two of them and have to make way for window seat every time they need the bathroom. And don’t worry, Diane-we Americans don’t like strangers touching us either. XD We’re not Spaniards or Italians. XD

Texans really are some of the most polite and friendly people who live on Earth but I'll tell ya what:
If you try to push my arm out of the way so you can have the armrest on a plane we're going to have problems.
If you just can't stand to not put your arm up for a little while then just ask and I'm pretty sure most of us will say no problem.
It's just nowhere near as fun to fly as it used to be.
Honestly I hate it now.
I was flying into NYC on a beautiful April morning. I had the window seat and just as we were in sight of the city the woman next to me said " Would you pull the window screen down"? I asked why, she said "Because flying so close to all those buildings is making me nervous". I replied "Well then you should look the other way because this is one of my favorite things about flying to NYC". She then said "If you've seen it before I don't understand why you just can't do what I asked". I said nothing after that and enjoyed my view.

I laughed out loud at the last bit where you talked about the laundry line. I noticed it, and it took me a sec to realize it was a shirt moving in the breeze. LOL! This was a good one. And you were right to assert yourself on the plane.
Anybody who didn't travel by plane pre 9/11 has NO idea how nice that mode of travel can be. It is nothing but a pain in the as$ since then.
Can you please do some reactions to Australia’s John Farnham. I don’t know if you’ve heard any of John Farnham’s music but he is amazing. John had hits over 5 decades from the late 60’s til present. When listening to John please do it to live performance, he’s so good live and puts so much into it. Especially his concert in Melbourne with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Irish curse suggestion you will go to a regular checkout lane with more than 15 items then the manager will change the line to 15 items and make you move to another line unless you like subscribe and comment. True story that happened to me before at the store since store was crowded. I am glad you stood up for yourself having your space on the arm rest on the plane. the front of the armrest is where the wrist goes. Lot of truth to the airplane etiquette. I wonder if the plane industry will ever the trays connected to each persons chairs that fold out at the wrist rest instead of the back of the chairs. Happy Friday Diane and Chewie! Ha Ha, on 13 hour flight from Detroit to Shanghai. Right after takeoff seat went all the way back. I needed to do work on my laptop at some time during the flight. Laptop would not sit on tray with the seat in that position at all. Finally, the person and the partner next to them both when to the toilet. I jumped up and pushed the buttons on their seats to move the seat back upright. After they came back, I kept blocking the attempt to recline by holding it back upright while pretending to sleep. They eventually gave up trying to recline and I could work...

I have ended a few arguments in person by just saying (while getting as big as I could) and (saying routinely reaching for my back pocket and letting it hang there) “You have the right to remain silent, I suggest you use it, the paperwork for me is lengthy…” which it would be if I had to make a citizen’s arrest…
LMAO I almost commented on what looked like a guy in a yellow plaid shirt wanting to get in and standing there creepily ... but I knew it wasn't really a guy but it did kind of remind me of the videos I see on Slapped Ham, Chills and Sir Spooks and other likeminded paranormal channels. If you have not heard of those channels I highly recommend you check those out and maybe do a reaction video once in a while as part of your variety of things you react to.

Personally, I am not too crazy about flying, because when I was seven, I had lost one of my uncles to a terrible plane crash. I would have to be drunk in order to get on the plane. Either the tray table or a kid kicking the backrest the entire flight.
That space behind your back is for you to recline into. That space in front of you is for the person in front of you to recline into. Dont kick them, dont feel sad that they are using their space, just join in and recline your own seat into your own space. Then you still have the same amount of space in front of you and no ones back is screwed by sitting needlessly upright with their legs contorted and sciatica in flaming pain.

Doesn't everyone hate flying? It used to be fun and glamorous, but those days are long gone. Now you have to get through security only to be packed into a seat with no leg room. And you get a bag with five peanuts and half a small plastic cup of warm Coke.
His repeated line, "We live in a society," reminded me of Fran Leibowitz and her Netflix show, "Pretend It's a City." She does social commentary, not stand-up, but she's very funny. Have you heard of her, seen her, or read any of her work?
Curse suggestion: If you don't like, comment, and subscribe, your water heater will go out on a holiday weekend, and you'll have to take cold showers for days until someone can come out and fix it.

I remember him when he was Jim Jeffries, not Jim Jefferies (the change had something to do with the actors guild requiring unique names in the US when he made the series Legit I think). Saw him back in 2010 on his Alcoholocaust tour in a small town, he seemed pretty depressed to be honest, still did a good set. Asked me if there was anywhere he could get a good curry and I pointed him to a place which had just opened saying "so you probably won't get food poisoning" :)
Looking great today Diane. Love Jim. He's a bit crude because the C word is used so commonly in Australia, and it's a pretty taboo word here in Canada, the States as well, but once you get that into your head, he's hilarious.

I always avoid the Irish curses because I know they are generally more likely to happen if one ignores them, I have been subscribed for a while now and always give a thumbs up cause I know Diane's videos are always entertaining and she puts a lot of work & effort into them.(editing Diane, give your girl the benefit of the doubt she knows what she's doing) I do agree with you on the airline travel issues unfortunately. Love Jim's comedy, yes he typically drinks few beers through his show so he's probably a little buzzed.

Today, I learned that on airplanes, Editor Diane is the dominant traveler. So if you're lucky or unlucky enough to be seated next to someone who may look like Diane Jennings, remember to not irritate this individual. I've just taken to keeping my elbows at my sides on planes. And I pass drinks, food and trash between my fellow passengers and the attendants. I actually got the pleasure of sitting face to face with a rather beautiful attendant on the way back from Turkey.

The last flight I took had those screens on the seats where you can just choose what you want to watch. Every time I pushed the screen I was really worried that I was annoying the person sitting in front of me.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen this comedian. I’ve definitely heard of him though. I thought he was very funny. I’m open to all comedy and can easily laugh about any of my traits or stereotypes which may apply. Also, I think most people don’t know the definition of race…this vid a great example of what we now often hear.
I actually think it is very politically correct. Good example of how we as a society forget to look at ppls actions because we are so easily influenced by what ppl are portraying themselves as.

My issue isn't with seating, it is with the overhead bins. I generally expect the bin over my seating area to be for the passengers under it. I don't expect to find it stuffed with bags from people sitting three rows away.
When the flight is over I save my sanity and sit quietly for a while until the bloodbath of retrieving bags from overhead bins is finished, and most of the other people have shuffled out of the plane.
