You freakin' rock for doing this, Kaity. I hope this gives others in the Part 91 world inspiration to do the same when they have the opportunity to give back! You should totally do a 1-1 interview with him outside of the cockpit to make up for the lost audio.
This is so awesome, as a low time guy I watch the turbo prop / turbine guys and gals on the ramp and think you all are pro ball players and I’m just practicing T Ball 🤣. It’s so nice of you to help out the little people and give such amazing access to your high tech aircraft. Keep up the amazing vids and don’t ever lose this servant leadership attitude, it’s so awesome…
All I have to say is why am I living in Framce. Aviation seems so much more easy in the US ! Next time I fly over I'll check in with you to see if there would be an opportunity to fly along with you. Besides turbine time (which I need to acquire) I love the PC 12 and there aren't that many here I can't tell you. Thanks for sharing your tips, life as a pilot and more. Looking forward the next one, Fly safe and happy landings ✈️ 🙏
Kaity, where you you when I stared flying. I’m 77 now and don’t fly anymore. Lost my medical. I’m so pirouette of you for sharing, any don’t give back. I was 18 when I started and paid for my private certification my self. Life got in the way and didn’t go any further. Was working on my instrument rating and viet nam came along. Keep it up we all crawled before we walked. Thank you for what you do. There’s nothing like the gods eye view.❤
I love that you do this. When I get my opportunity I will do this too. I have my commercial multi and single with 800+hrs and 100hrs PIC in a C421C and stuck with no prospects. I really need to find someone who cares like you do and willing to help out. Blue Skies!
This is so great. I'm a new CFI and trying to navigate my way to regionals or a Part 135 operation. I should also mention that I'm 53 years old! I would love the opportunity to gain turbine time, especially in the PC12! Thanks for giving back to the aviation community, and I would love to fly with you someday.
Dang! I wish I was out your way, because I would definitely take you up on your offer. I would love to see what it’s like to be in that type of cockpit, given that all my time is in small single engine, general aviation aircraft. I love what you’re doing, and that’s so awesome the way you’re giving back to the community. Continue to fly safe, and thank you for sharing with those of us who may not have access but for your giving spirit. Take care!
I’m not a pilot. Just a truck driver that likes to watch flying videos. When I was over the road, during Covid, there was a Fred Meyers store in Boise I loved to get food at. The best/ nicest store I’ve ever shopped at. Best produce anywhere. Exit 52, same as the airport exit, I believe. Then north next to the ghetto Flying J truck stop. I’m a western Colorado based fuel transport driver now. I hauled jet fuel out of Denver to Vail (EGE) & Aspen going into Covid. Just haul gas & diesel now. Safe travels
I worked line service when I was working on my ratings.Made a lot of connections that way. The FBO had an aircraft sales department and got my foot in the door and built time that way and saved me lots of money.
Hi Kaity... the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has a PC-12 with the same avionics package, although probably less complete. I'll go back through your videos to see what I can pick up... Greetings from Québec, Canada... 🇨🇦
I just did a flight from Phoenix to Boise, shooting the ILS 28R and I guesstimate that at least 90% of the important systems are modelled, including creating a flight plan, SIDS and STARS, even VNAV. I'm a Garmin person, but I found many videos on TH-cam explaining the navigation system. Very impressive for a freeware aircraft.
Is there a video breaking down how to do the light sport instruction at 150 hours? I am finishing my PPL in a light sport and interested using it to do some instruction like you mention
I have a couple video on that route but for the specific details and how to interpret the CFRs etc and apply them I wrote a pdf guide that explains all that. You can find it in the stanstore link in my profile
I am currently a private pilot and took my written for both IFR and commercial, passed them, then Covid hit and I was unfortunately unable to take my check rides… I had not flown in several years until about a month ago, a good friend and flight instructor took me up… I have been thinking of transitioning jobs and have been kicking the idea of flying as a profession… Most of my hours (around 300) have been in my Comanche 260… I would love an opportunity to fly in a turbo prop to see if this would be something I could see myself doing for a living. If you ever have any open spots in the future, please consider me. Thanks so much for all you do for aviation… 😃
I think there has been some confusion with this video. I’m not opening this invitation up to the general public. I don’t fly with people that I don’t know. This video was more saying this is something you could find in your local area through people you know
I’ll take pilots along when I can. Do you let them fly the empty legs? I occasionally get trips with empty legs that allows me to get them some left seat time.
This is only something I do with people I know personally. You’d have to make connections in your local area and see if there are opportunities like this
Hi Kaity, we have very similar jobs flying P91 in the same type aircraft. I also try and take along another pilot whenever I can. I am a CFI/II/MEI. Do these pilots you bring along have a high altitude, complex, HP endorsements before they can log PIC? Just a rabbit hole I have fallen into in the past and want to know your thoughts. Thanks!
Sorry for the confusion but I only take people I know personally it’s not open to the general public. This is more a suggestion to make connections at your local airport and find opportunities like this
Sign me up. Commercial SEL, CFI working on CFII and multi. I am in the DFW area if you need someone. Can get myself home if it is a one way flight from here. 😊 Also can fly out to wherever you are. Any chance that anyone has connections for a CFI job in the DFW area? Let me know.
What about using a Ground power unit on a Cessna or any single engine land airplane? being that the price ratio is much different when it comes to engine running time...do all airplane have sockets for the GPU?...FYI: I am a ramp agent for UPS and not many connections as the other ramp agents plus their administrators have no clue about aviation... The only topic of their interest is sports teams. ...it is like walking into a prison
I think there’s some confusion because I only take people I know personally. This is more of a suggestion for people to make these kinds of connections in there local area to build flight time
I’m a new commercial pilot in Boise but I don’t work at the FBO 😞 I am almost always available though if you would consider taking me up? I’d like to chat more if you’re willing?
I love your content! It has helped me get a glimpse into my dream career, not at an airline. I just messaged you on instagram. I fly out of Utah, if you ever have an open seat I’d love the opportunity to learn from you! Thanks again for your content, inspiring all aviators but especially us girls!

I agree! That’s definitely something I can plan
That cool your company allows that, it’s very smart of them.
👏
CFI/CFII/MEI Your a great person to offer helpful hands to students and commercial pilots! Us all appreate it.
👏
live laugh heiner
Love that ride along policy, very nice of you how you help people out for free when these days everything and I mean everything has a price.
It’s a great way to give back!

I only fly with people I know personally but this could be something you could do in your local area through networking!
I am loving the positive attitude! Great of you to take others along as you are working.
Thanks so much, it’s a great way to meet some new people and share my passion
Must be nice to do a pre-flight inside. It's wonderful that are showing other people what you do and teaching them. Hello from Wisconsin.
Thanks!

Thank you so much for sharing your story! And thank you for your service

You got this! Keep flying!
Wow this is amazing. I’m dying to get into a turbine, things like this should be more common. you rock for doing this!
I’m glad my company allows this it’s pretty cool

Thank you for the kind words! I hope you get the chance to fly in a turbine sometime.
What an awesome opportunity, and how great of you to help out other pilots! I need to see if anybody is doing anything like this in my area.
I hope you find someone to help you out!
That’s awesome! I would love to get into a PC-12 one day, I have some friends that know you and say a lot of great things, great content!
Thank you!
I’ve got my commercial checkride tomorrow. This is awesome
Good luck!! Let me know how it goes
@ Passed!

Thank you for the kind words, and for sharing your experience in the trucking world!
I worked line service when I was working on my ratings.Made a lot of connections that way. The FBO had an aircraft sales department and got my foot in the door and built time that way and saved me lots of money.
That’s awesome!
I am a instrument rated private pilot working on CFI waiting on a commercial checkride. PC12 looks like a great airplane!
Good luck on your checkride!
Love this video! Very nice of you 😊
Glad you liked it!!
Super cool! Thanks for this!
Glad you liked it!
like what you do Kaity ! enjoy! nice ride!
Thank you for watching!
Love you channel. Thanks for sharing!… by the way, I bought the headlamp you recomend me. Thanks!
Awesome! Thank you!
I’m in the Boise area often with the Air Guard. I’d love a chance to fly in the PC-12!
👍🏼
Just started getting my sport pilot license. I'd love to experience flying a turbine.
Good luck on your training! What plane are training in?
Well done, the industry needs more people like you and your company. I fly 777s and if I can help in any way with advice please let me know.
Thank you so much! That’s a great offer
Great job, thanks.
Thanks for watching!
BRAVO.🤘🏻🤩👍
🔥✨💃🏻✨🔥

You’ll pick up a lot, I’m sure! That’s good to know so new pilots can use that to brush up on the avionics
I would love to do this with you. I am a local Flight instructor.
This is really more for people I know personally. I don’t take people that I don’t know since it could open up a lot of possible issues
Hey! Commercial student out here at KDVT. If you’re ever picking up students out here and need someone to finally get coffee for you 🙋🏽♂️
Thanks for the offer
That's really cool. I may have missed it, but what company was it?
I don’t say the company I work for
Is there a video breaking down how to do the light sport instruction at 150 hours? I am finishing my PPL in a light sport and interested using it to do some instruction like you mention

@ I understand, thanks for clarifying…
I’ll take pilots along when I can. Do you let them fly the empty legs? I occasionally get trips with empty legs that allows me to get them some left seat time.
Sometimes they fly out of the right seat but I always sit in the left seat
I’d love to do this! I’m a newly minted CSEL with my own Cessna 150 for commuting. How do I sign up?
This is only something I do with people I know personally. You’d have to make connections in your local area and see if there are opportunities like this
@@pilotkaity sorry about that. Since it says, “Enter to WIN!” on the image thumbnail I was looking for how to do that.
Besides a commercial and instrument rating, what is needed to fly the PC12 professionally?
For my company ATP and 3000 hours
@ wow. I only need 2300 more hours 😂
Thanks!
I usually give it to them on the first leg and then they can log PIC after that
Hey Kaity, I need turbine time and live in Idaho. Should you ever have room I’d love to go with you as well!!
Sorry for the confusion but I only take people I know personally it’s not open to the general public. This is more a suggestion to make connections at your local airport and find opportunities like this

This is only for people I know personally it just opens up too many potential issues to do this with people I’ve never met before
I wanna go! I need 95 more hours for ATP mins! :)
That’s exciting! You’re so close

Do you mean using a GPU to log flight time?
incredible. Where do I sign up?
I think there’s some confusion because I only take people I know personally. This is more of a suggestion for people to make these kinds of connections in there local area to build flight time
I’m a new commercial pilot in Boise but I don’t work at the FBO 😞 I am almost always available though if you would consider taking me up? I’d like to chat more if you’re willing?
I’m sorry for the confusion but I’m not offering to take people I don’t know
So just show up then???
But I’m not a student pilot in the literal sense, just figuratively 🤪🤣😜
No I only take people I know personally haha sorry
I love your content! It has helped me get a glimpse into my dream career, not at an airline. I just messaged you on instagram. I fly out of Utah, if you ever have an open seat I’d love the opportunity to learn from you! Thanks again for your content, inspiring all aviators but especially us girls!
Sounds good! Thanks for watching
