I would like to see the ink blending of the apples
Absolutely gorgeous cards. So realistic. Love them all. Thanks for the inspiration. 💜💜💜
Amazing!I love this. It's so pretty. I would love to see how you inked the white picket fence.
Dawn, your cards always wow me! You are such THE master in how you apply your colors - I've tried and I CANNOT replicate how you shade these little die cuts! Just amazing! What do you do with your pieces anyway, surely these are frameable art, not merely cards that you pass on?? Thank you for the inspiration! 💕
Thank you! 🥰 Keep practicing, it is a learned skill and I’m confident you can do it! Some do get mailed out or gifted. Some get displayed for a bit in the craft room, and then lots end up in a box with completed cards/projects. I honestly just enjoy the process of creating, so I don’t care much what happens with the final product! 😂
Your ink blending is amazing. They look so real.
Stunning, all 3 cards! Love, love, love these cards! ❤❤❤
Gorgeous. I’d love to see the apple card please, the apples in particular. Wasn’t planning on buying that die set although I am collecting the lovely layers (I just bought another barrel die set) but now I think I need it.
Red caps are, I believe, poisonous. So very pretty, so very much “NO”. But then last month there was a family lunch in Australia where some family members died, one (last I heard) was fighting for their life, the woman who cooked the meal apparently went to hospital but her children did not eat the poisoned meal. So whether it’s a foraging error or murder is under investigation. And those mushrooms were not red caps. In Australia we have “death caps” and they look far too similar to edible mushrooms that they’ve killed many foragers. Scary stuff. As a kid we used to forage for mushrooms. Never again. (Mind you it was probably safer where I lived back then, not safe here.)
And that is why there will be no mushroom foraging in my future! 😂
I totally enjoyed watching your blending techniques...you're AMAZING!!! I'd love to see how you did the blending for the apples and also how you did the metal band on the barrel. Thanks for sharing your techniques with us!!!
I absolutely love watching your videos. You are so talented and offer so much inspiration and teach so much. Thank you! I never would have thought to use the hay as grass and it totally works!
You are a delight to watch. Your cards are a work of art! Absolutely gorgeous.
That barrel came out so good I can’t wait to try it and now I have to watch the one with the lighter barrel also .💐
Great card Marla! Videos always make them come alive! I love it
Your ink blending is the best! wow!!
Dawn, you amaze me every single time you create! I am in love with how you created these cards! I’d like to see the white washed fence. I have a difficult time with white anything. Thank you!!!!
Thank you so much! The white washing happened by accident off camera, it was a trickier one to get right. I will put it on my list for future videos!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these cards Dawn!!

STUNNING! 💯😍🤎💛🧡❤🪵🍂🍁🍃 TYSMFS! 🤗 Can you plz provide a link, to your video, where you ink paper to appear metallic? TY! ❤
I can’t link in comments, but it’s over on my Wplus9 Channel. 😉
Will look for it. Thanks! 🤗
Love your videos ……..what color did you use for the pumpkin that looks teal kinda
It was Speckled Egg and Iced Spruce. 🙂
23:23 Do you have a more detailed video for this heat embossing technique? I am a newbie and have no idea what you mean by "treat the card stock". Also, what thickness for the card and what thickness for the embellishments? When I say "newbie", I mean brand newbie! I just received my first order from you guys today, I placed a second order and am filling my cart back up again! 🤣
Hi and welcome to the addictive world of card making! 😉 There are a lot of basics that generally get glossed over unless the video is specifically titled “Basics” or “Beginner”. You can check out my personal channel Wplus9 for more of my videos. But you will be able to explore and pick up techniques and different styles by doing a search for the technique on TH-cam you’re looking to learn specifically. For example, search “heat embossing card making” for videos dedicated to that technique.
But I can answer your specific questions here quickly. Heat embossing needs embossing powder, embossing ink, and a heat gun. You “treat” your cardstock with an anti-static tool (I use the Rabbit Hole Designs Powder Tool, but a dryer sheet works in a pinch) to remove the static charge from your paper. You stamp your image using embossing ink, and then pour embossing powder over the stamped image. Tap off the excess. The embossing powder will only “stick” to the places where there is embossing ink. Then use the heat gun to melt the embossing powder.
Cardstock - I personally use 80 lb - 110 lb COVER STOCK. Neenah is a crafter favorite and sold in the Honey Bee Store. I hope that helps get you off and running! ❤
@@dawnwoleslagle9561 Perfect! Last question (I think), what kind of powder do you put in the Rabbit Hole Designs Powder Tool to make the surface anti-static?
@@chandyscreations4211it comes with a powder and then you can buy refills. The refill will fill it several times.
Someone tell me what ft means in these titles ..puleeze
