The way she (or whoever helps her) arranges the songs along with her inflections and light/shade makes me feel not only is it a great cover but it's a very smart presentation.

see, the problem with all the comments i see on these kinds of covers is that people keep comparing them to the originals. guys, it's called a ~cover~ for a reason. it's not supposed to be the same, it's supposed to be someone else's rendition of a song. with their style, twists, emotions and what have you. stop deciding which is better and just appreciate two different versions, each with their own uniqueness.

Okay, Lana and Carly are two different people. Saying one is better than another isn't right. While everyone is bashing on Lana saying she's not as good as Carly live, I would highly disagree. Lana gets very emotional and into her songs while singing. So into it he gets carried away with her notes. Lana also has stage freight, but if you compare her older videos to her more recent ones, you can see she is improving with her control and fear. Its very interesting watching her perform. They are both very great singers though.
I don't know why anyone would compare the two. Lana is a great singer/songwriter, and is very cool on stage. Carly is a great young singer, and I love this cover. Lana probably does too. Check out Grace Vardell's cover of West Coast. She's great (and 14)...they're all great!
