Loved this movie as a kid. Having Fool as the protagonist was amazing to me and as a mixed kid, it was cool to see him being the lead. And he played in another horror movie called Ghost in the Machine later before Mighty Ducks. Love most of Wes Craven's works and this was another fun one. Also, love Kelly Jo Minter. So many people forget that she survived 3 horror movies as a Black woman in the 80s-early 90s: NoES pt 5, People Under the Stairs, and Popcorn.
This film was released when I was seven years old. The People Under the Stairs is an underrated horror film from 1991 that deserves more recognition.
