He was suspicious, yes, but without evidence suspicious means nothing, it was the same thing that happened with Matt, Stiles was suspicious of Matt but only said that he rubbed him the wrong way, and Matt seemed harmless for the most part, it wasn't until later when they start to find out more about Matt that it became obvious that he was the bad guy, same happened with Theo, it's okay if Stiles is suspicious and has a quite incredible eye to detect the bad guy, but no matter how much Scott trust Stiles, he can't automatically make a verdict and assume the worst of everyone due to simply suspicion, also, Stiles despite not trusting Theo still heard him and didn't talk with Scott about Donovan, which made Stiles, quite ironically, more suspicious since Scott had to learn about the Donovan situation through Theo instead of Stiles, and when Scott faced him about it, Stiles didn't even explain properly what happened, even though he supposedly suspected Theo so he should have assumed that Theo would change the story. Honestly, both were idiots this season in their own ways, in fact, every member of the pack was as much of an idiot this season with their heads stuck up their asses which made Theo's work the easier.
Even though Stiles was suspicious of him for a long time, he eventually trusted him at some point too, so Scott is technically right.

Without proof, any suspicious holds no meaning, when the season started all the information he got on Theo was purely circumstantial at best, even Stiles dad who is a sheriff and a good detective in itself didn't see any clear evidence of Theo's villainy until very late, and at the time there wasn't enough proof to back up Stiles suspicous, so no wonder the others were skeptic, besides, it doesn't matter how much Scott trust Stiles, he can't automatically tag someone of a bad guy and assume the worst of them just because Stiles suspects of them, the same way that Stiles doesn't automatically trust in someone else just because Scott does.
Also, are you forgetting that Stiles did trust Theo despite all the "I don't trust him" thing? Stiles listened to Theo and didn't tell Scott about Donovan right of the bat, which served only to make Stiles more suspicious as he was practically covering what he did and told no one about it, had he trusted Scott instead of Theo, Scott would have heard what happened first hand, from Stiles and his point of view, and would have known what happened and how it was eating Stiles inside even though it was an accident, and purely in self-defense, so yeah, Stiles did trust Theo at the end even if less than the others and even though he was suspicious of him from the moment Theo appeared. Honestly, this is probably the season in which Scott and Stiles have been most out of sync and the biggest idiots in the world, more than half of the problems hey had this season could have been solved way faster if they just took 5 fucking minutes to have a damn talk and tell what they were living and feeling!

@@pierocubertino5845 I am still thinking about how Theo's plan would have crumbled beneath his feet, if Stiles just admitted to killing Donovan in self-defense. They would have checked the library cards from the get go and would have realised that Theo sent Donovan after Stiles, but no instead Stiles a.k.a mr. Know it all decided it would be good idea to create a little secret club with the guy he was SO suspicious of.
@@burningice8451 yeah, the only semi understandable thing about the whole thing was that Stiles was in a bad place mentally and he considered himself guilty of murder which is why he didn't tell Scott or his own father, However, Stiles more than anyone should have known how it would look like to others if he kept quite, and considering how loud he was about not trusting Theo, he should have at the very least suspect Theo's intentions and advice about keeping quite, and told his father at the very least, which woud have saved him many problems, he also should have known and suspected that Theo would tell Scott and twisted the story, other times there's no way to shutting him up about him being right, but when he has to tell Scott his version of the story he keeps quite and instead yells at Scott with a speech that makes him seem guilty. It's unbelievable how stupid their whole discussion and misunderstanding was because it legit required to dumb down both of them, especially Stiles.

It's everyone's fault here, Theo manipulated everyone, Liam was so blinded by his crush on Hayden that he didn't even understand why Scott didn't want to bite her and was willing to kill for her, Scott trusted Theo, and Stiles, despite claiming to distrust Theo, listened to him and never went to talk to Scott about Donovan, do you realize how many things could have been avoided if they just took like 5 minutes to fucking talk about it! I really liked the chimera thing and the beast of Gevaudan part of this season, but the fact that everyone in the pack had their heads stuck up their ass, and more importantly the fact that Stiles distrusted Scott enough to not tell him about Donovan, and Scott trusting so easily in Theo despite Stiles telling him he was suspicious and we know that Stiles has a radar for bad guys like when he nailed it when he said that Matt was the bad guy and no one believed him, those 2 things were the things that I got angry about the most, they are best friends and practically brothers, there is no way they wouldn't trust each other to talk about this sort of things, especially after everything they went through in the previous seasons.

@@burningice8451 yeah, I mean, I get that the point was to show the pack at their lowest point, especially Scott as an alpha, but it made far more sense for Scott and Stiles to have problems with everyone else but with each other, the show takes place in like 3 years, season 5 was somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd year, Liam, Malia, Kira, damn even Lydia, were people that they didn't know for that long and that they could have had issues with during this season, but not Scott and Stiles having this issue with each other, they have known each other for years! This type of fight between them would have made far more sense if it happened not long after Scott became a werewolf or not long after he became an alpha, but not after years of friendship and after surviving an alpha, a homicidal lizard, a terrifyingly crazy old man, a darach, an alpha pack, a dark spirit, and fucking professional killers, dude, even Lydia was more loyal to Scott and the pack in general than the rest, and let's admit it, she only has known them for a couple years tops.
Honestly, there were so many issues with the pack during season 5 and many of those didn't even make sense, the characters acted like idiots who couldn't even communicate when they are supposed to be friends, which make the while thing even more ridiculous, and some of the fans don't even make it easier when they start to attack the characters unilaterally and unreasonably.

Wow. I watched season 5 and 6 two times just because Theo. I loved Cody before TW (PLL) and when he stepped he stole my heart again. Plus when it turned out that he's a villain I loved him way more. So yes, this is me, the girl who has serious problems with bad/underrated characters. That's me.

if my memory serves me well,Stiles' is always paranoid of every "new" character in town (Liam, Kira) yes, there were moments he was right like with Theo and Peter being bad guys but,Stiles' isn't always right.
Scott gave stiles' a chance to explain himself about the Donovan incident (the chimera he killed by mistake) but, you know what stiles said:
"you think I had a choice,he was gonna kill my dad."
Which implied he did in fact murder him, not self-defense.
But, stiles didn't mean to kill Donovan *it was self-defense*,an accident even (from my point of view) but,his poor choice of words made Scott believe Theo's story over his.
"How could Scott believe,Theo over his best friend?!" People argue but,news flash Theo had done nothing but,help the pack,he saved Liam,Malia,Hayden,Scott and stiles,Scott had no reason not to believe him!
Stiles also began to trust Theo too,Scott was right to say "you trusted him too" because,when he killed a chimera to save stiles,he told stiles not to tell Scott because, if he did he would also tell Scott about Donovan so he *trusted* Theo enough to keep his mouth shut about Donovan instead of coming clean to Scott.
If stiles told Scott he killed Donovan from the beginning he wouldn't have felt threatened about telling Scott that Theo is in fact not trustworthy (because, he didn't have to kill the chimera but,he did).
It was in fact not Scott's fault because, all of what I mentioned wouldn't have happened if stiles told scott the *truth*.
After nearly dying Scott still went to the hospital to see Sheriff stilinki,only to be pushed against the wall by stiles.

For the ones saying stiles never trusted Theo … YES HE DID!!! in a moment of vulnerability stiles did trust Theo and y’all like to play like that never accrued.
Yes Scott should have given his best friend the benefit of doubt but even when he got the story from theo he didn’t quite believe it and still wanted stiles side… we all know what Scott’s morals are and that he isn’t perfect but had he gotten the truth from his best friend off the bath none of this would’ve happened. IMO both failed each other , neither more than the other .
Yes Stiles never trusted Theo but he never could prove it could he, we knew from the get go and some of y’all fail to realize that😂.
