The GT500 GT-Rs are smaller than the GT300 ones. This is not a choice by Mini GT, they are smaller hence they are not built on the GT3/ road-going version of the car. You can also check out Kyosho models for reference.

Some units have tilted wings that are pitched to the rear. One guess is that there was nothing to prop the wing when its super glue bond was drying up during assembly at the factory.
This is commonly seen on a handful of Mini GT models with GT-spec wings, almost every Ford GT Mk. II I've seen have this problem.

Super GT GT500 cars are like flat silhouettes. They sit much lower than GT300 or GT3 cars.

Question: do you know if all Super GT series are Japan exclusive? I hope not because it gets really expensive to get cars in this series
The real GT500 cars indeed smaller even in real life. Just like I mentioned above, these cars are not based on the GT3/ road-going cars. Just in short, GT300 R35s are a lot bigger than the GT500, and this is not a choice by Mini GT.
Ya. Agreed. Started collecting Mini GT coz price vs details are awesome. I've got all latest BMW M4 GT4, price lower than Japan exclusive 😢
Its so called Japanese Exlcusive, but dealers have been able to fet them on PreOrder basis, so, there arent as limited to Japan Only i guess.
