Same I first was placed in gold. I just reached C1 in 2's yesterday, but I still got a lot to work on if I want to be GC, especially my defence and also my outplays from the air or ground.

This is a couple years old now but... it's awesome! Seeing the progression! I'm currently Plat3-Diamond1 and my goal is to reach GC by the end of 2024. About ~350 hours in, already started putting together some clips. I'm super excited to do something like this!

for all peoples who played rl for little bit and then got better will be sometime on ssl becasue they become so often good. from the past who played rl 2015. and thats not all of it.
for people's are stuck with d3 and champ 1 and everytime u try to get c3 and gc its gonna be harder next. this is why i kinda like rl becasue theres so much to do on rocket league.
even tho. theres just one way to not get stuck in 2s or 3s even the way you figured out yourself.
if you do all season's at once you get better ranks alot. but sometimes even tho your on the same season and your on the same rank.
your not gonna get the rank at all just becasue your just not gonna get the rank.

Im gold trying to push to plat do you have any tips. Also you had very good items in gold. I saw cobalt Apex's
Work on dribbling and basic aerials. If that gets too easy and your still not improving then work on game sense and defense.

@@Nckthetooth how many hours tho? ive been playing for 2 years on and off and im champ 1 with 500 hours. from what i see mmost poeple at my rank have started playing later than me, but have more hours than me (because early on i didnt grind much lol, took me 1.5 years to really get into it and grind)

People do ceiling shots in plat now 😂🤣? That wasn't a factor when I was in plat that i remember. That was strictly diamond+ play. I didn't learn how to do proper ceiling shots until I was around D3 - C1 🤣
