I really enjoyed your conversation with Stacie. She is a lovely person and I miss seeing her at events. The variety in her projects was inspiring. I encourage you to follow your impulse to get to more events. Coping with Covid changed many of our habits, and I am becoming aware of the way it affected even our patterns with friends and family. I am trying to be conscious of what I want to reclaim from pre Covid (and, of course, what I can let go.)
Friend! Hi Cori another great podcast! Stacie was fabulous and wow what a great knitter and crocheter. My dear friend Susan taught me to knit in 2015. I knit or crochet all the time. I am so grateful for my friend and for you whom I now consider my friend even though we have not met. I hope someday to be at an event to meet you in person. My Ravelry name is Marragirl8. Looking forward to your next podcast. Oh and I purchase your Mae shawl. Love it. It’s my next shawl to make after I finish my Hipster shawl and Friendship shawl that I’m currently knitting. ❤
This episode with your friend Staci was very enjoyable. I am especially happy because she shared a shawl that I liked. I am an old lady and when I hear “shawl” I think k of lovely yarn that makes a piece of fabric that you can wrap around yourself and stay warm and comfy in your log cabin. Most of the shawls I have seen recently are more life scarves or bibs…beautiful but not what I have been looking for. Thank you so much for sharing your friend (and other friends!) with us.
Stacie, you did such a great job! I didn't realize how multi-talented you are, including crocheting! Congratulations Cori on Mae's shawl...so beautiful! 💗
Hi Cori. This was another fun episode. Loved your chat with your friend Stacie. I’ve often thought about knitting your cahoots cardigan without the owls so now I can add that to my long Ravelry queue. Rachel S.
Hi Cori, I enjoyed your chat. I was touched by your obvious emotion when you spoke about your MIL, Mae. I also had a wonderful mother-in-law, she was a dear friend to me and I miss her everyday. Your shawl is a lovely tribute to Mae
Stacie did a great job picking out projects that have sentimental value and skill. I haven’t been able to attend y knitting group for months due to poor health, but this was a great reminder of the friendships I’ve made through knitting. Thanks Cori. Deb from Florida
My dearest friend was my SIL who we lost to cancer during the pandemic. She was my favorite knitting companion and would have never started knitting if it wasn’t for her. I have other great friends but I miss her so much and spent so much time knitting and traveling with her to knitting functions. Can’t wait to knit Mae’s Shawl-could not pass that one up.
Friend... I always like watching and seeing what you're doing. Getting tips, hearing stories, and just watching you chat. Especially when I can't sleep, I can put you on and just rewatch again later in the week or next day. I don't have many friends that I remember because over time, since I was a kid, I had people I talked to but we never really kept in touch.
My oldest friend was my neighbor while we were growing up, and although we live in different countries now, we still see each other often. Cori, your new shawl pattern is my favorite pattern of yours. I think I'll have to check my stash and buy the pattern now and cast on.
Love this!! I can also recommend flying into Newark airport in NJ and driving to Rhinebeck- it’s about a 1.5 to 2 hour drive but you might be able to get a direct flight. I live in NJ so it’s real easy to drive to Rhinebeck for the day
What a fun chat with your friend! You are in for a major emotional rollercoaster in that final season of A Million Little Things. It moves really fast. -anng27
My oldest friend is Deborah. I met her at work. She asked me did I knit my poncho. It was in 2006 (Only a fellow knitter should have known it was a hand knit) My Ravelry name is KnittyPurl2
Another great podcast and another wonderful friend of yours to be introduced to. I can't wait to cast on your latest shawl. What a great idea to make the neck with that braid and cable. I too would love to know the pattern name of that colorful little dress at 151.56 on your podcast. I guess we could just call the shop. Your weight loss is amazing and you seem so upbeat with it. Good luck with the maintenance part of it. knittingrammie
I don’t know the name of the pattern, I took a still shot so I’ll email it to you and you could call the shop. But it is hanging with two skins of Yarn, so I assume she made the sample herself.
Another fun episode, Cori. It was nice to meet another of your fiber friends. My knitting BFF Ida is such a dear friend. It’s great that our love of fiber has resulted in meeting wonderful people. -lajoyagirl
Cori, do you happen to know the name of the pattern and yarn used for the rainbow dress you showed in your shop tour at the end of your podcast? My youngest fell in love with it.
I consider you a FRIEND. My friend who now lives in Texas messaged me and said she wants to come to my graduation. I started to cry. I was so touched that she would fly to CA just for the weekend to see me graduate. She is one of my so many awesome friends. I am so lucky. Wardrobemadebyme
Love your new pattern! I also lucked out and got the best MIL. It’s such a special relationship when you get a good one they can be your FRIEND ❤ @you.can.knit

I have wanted to meet Stacy for so long! It was great to see you interact. Congrats on Mae’s shawl. And thanks again to both of you for the links.
We need to schedule your time on the podcast friend!
OMG! If only you could have seen and heard my reaction when she was showing us her lego person!! She is so amazing!
I know! right?!

New to your podcast today! Took your Fixing Mistakes Class in Sioux Falls and loved it! I will continue to be a fan and new friend.

The ending of million little things is heartbreaking.
I agree
