3km is a better alt for low alt recon, trust me. and let it tick for 1-2 seconds, switch it off for 3 seconds or so and repeat the process. this will allow u to cover the entire front if done right. it's similar to the same thing in v1.

Yes. If you want you can visually ID and make a point of passing back over them, but if you're going to visually ID targets you may as well just skip straight to doing CAS.
You say the server resets every 4 hours, but I have seen people saying battles on this server can go on for days. What does a server resetting mean? Is that when they change who controls the hexagons?
The server reset is the box turning off and on again. Everyone gets kicked, but then can join again about a minute later. Campaign progress is preserved across this reset so the campaign will go on until one side wins, sometimes weeks. The hexagon control and unit respawning happens every 'Tick' which is normally each hour, but they have been temporarily moved to once per reset due to an issue with DCS 2.9

Mirage F1 or the mig 21. Really speed is the major thing you need for recon

I must be jinked because every time I press F3 to start the record I have an SA8 up my ass. Like literally press F3 and boom gone

That is/was definitely planned but I don't believe bridges have been implemented as targets yet. So at time of writing, no

Yup, the loadout is completely unrestricted. You can carry anything you would on a non-recon plane
