Yep that’s in the works too! Long story short though, ive pushed some big slabs of oak, beech and sweet chestnut through and been dead happy with the results.

Is the plane tray leather bottom?

It’s actually a thick piece of felt. I think its original to the bench but could be a old replacement. Complete with moth holes 😂
