Previously, WET used to work with color filtered halogens. WET introduced their first LED Pico Rio lights for Aquanura and Wynn Macau in 2012, to make these projects more rich in colour and spectacular. These LED lights from WET are very elegant and bright. The only issues with these LEDs, is they tend to fail overtime which makes them inseparable for repair. That's why WET's engineers and designers have to do mockups and test new devices or LED technology for upcoming projects that could make their features more unique and spectacular.
Interesting fact, Wynn Macau was originally illuminated by color filtered lights back in 2006. WET updated the Performance Lake in 2012, replacing all the color filtered lights to Rio LEDs. The upgrade includes robotic Fan Oarsman, and more additional shooters for more dramatic effects.
