How to Identify fake US Polo Association polo shirts.
United States Polo Association
Established in 1890, the USPA provides resources to over 4,500 individual members and 250 polo clubs across the U.S. and Canada, including promoting the game of polo, coordinating the activities of its Member Clubs and Registered Players, arranging and supervising polo tournaments, competitions and games and providing rules, handicaps and conditions for those tournaments, competitions and games, including the safety and welfare of participants and mounts. The first chairman of the USPA was H.L. Herbert (1890-1921). The first chief executive officer was Peter J. Rizzo (2011-2015).
The USPA has established a number of programs for new players to learn the sport in the U.S. including Regional Polo Centers and clubs that host schools and lessons across the country. In 2010, the USPA created Team USPA,[3] a program to enhance and grow the sport of polo in the U.S. by identifying young, talented American players and providing mentored training and playing opportunities leading to a pool of higher rated amateur and professional players. The organization also coordinates youth polo programs and competitions through Interscholastic/Intercollegiate polo [4] and Pony Club.
In 2012, “60 Minutes” aired a special feature on polo’s resurgence in America and included several interviews with dedicated players and ambassadors in the United States. The segment highlighted one of the USPA’s specialty programs, Work to Ride www.worktoride.net, which is dedicated to helping inner-city youth in Philadelphia through polo and other equine activities.
Polo Ralph Lauren vs United States Polo Association became an ongoing legal battle after the first lawsuit in 1984. Ralph Lauren, the core designer and owner of the sportswear and fragrance line Polo Ralph Lauren of the Ralph Lauren Corporation, filed his first lawsuit against U.S. Polo Association, the governing body of the game of polo in the U.S., in 1984 on claims of trademark infringement. A series of lawsuits has since then been filed. USPA filed countersuits but the court had always ruled in favor of Ralph Lauren until a 2014 dismissal of Lauren's lawsuit. Ralph Lauren actually took the polo brand and idea from US polo club. The brand was around first being the official clothing for US polo players.

For all the confused people, here's what happened....
1. Polo is the name of a very old sport played on horseback.
2. US Polo Assn. was established as the governing body of the sport in 1890.
3. Polo Ralph Lauren started making merchandise in 1967.
4. Later US Polo Assn also started making merchandise in 1980.
5. In no way whatsoever are the two related to each other. They are independent brands on their own.
6. Simply saying POLO would mean either the sport itself or Polo Ralph Lauren, since RL trademarked the name in 1967.
7. Over the years Polo RL has emerged as a luxury brand while USPA as a cheaper brand.
8. Making mockery of a guy simply because he wears a cheap shirt is unacceptable and childish...
I was wondering why the ones I bought off Walmarts website were not as good as the ones that I bought at the mall.
I honestly will take USPA anyday, never had a problem with the brand. Nothing against Ralph Lauren, but I'm not paying 60 plus dollars for one shirt, their cologne, yes, shirts no. That's why most Americans stay broke and in credit card debt, trying to keep up with the Jones's.
I'm with you. I actually wear USPA, and without shame. Their cotton polos have a nice quality feel, very comfortable too. No need to spend $90 (😱) on a polo when I can get one for half that, and still look and feel good 😎

My co-worker sell 2 of this shirts to me... I don't know if is original. According this video is original. But I don't know my mother tell me that the price in the store is less than the co-worker price. The polo logo is in various colours and is strange that I only see one color in Instagram page.

Uspa was born in 1890 and Ralph Lauren in 1968. And by the way, on the label of USPA they say that it is an official licensed product and they also say that USPA is not affiliated with Polo Ramph Lauren Corp.

So it means my beverly hills polo is class a replicas only because the botton has no brand tag and the etiquet on the side is not shinny and has extra tread unlike the American eagle polo i bought has the botton brand name and the etiquet on the side is shiny and the cotton is so soft. I bought the polo in beverly hills shop in qatar. So they are not really sell the original one but the price is expensive as original
