Sorry for the late response. It didn't seem like it did. I wondered about that also. I actually looked to see if there was a latch or something. I didn't see anything. The bottom seemed like it doesn't move at all.
Yes the bottom seats concvert to. Bed under each seat there is a push level for bed and then pull down the seat with the bar for both of those seats, than the top bunk pulls down and the mattress for the button bunk with blanket and pillow is resting on the top bunk.
