- In this video, we review all of the items I use in my EDC or everyday carry kit that I store in an Altoids can. These items are what I use everyday and can be used in a variety of ways, however, this is not an emergency kit or survival tin.
This video is separate from the EDC kit that I take on my backpacking trips because some of these items are heavy and do not sure the same purpose on trail. If you would like to view my EDC kit for backpacking, please clink the link below:

That is genius right there.
Appreciate ya! This kit is VERY useful and I take it with me everywhere I go. Always be prepared!
Well thought out kit. Love my Lever Gear charging cable and adapters. Thanks as always for the video.
Good catch! The Lever Gear cable has been a great addition to the kit! Appreciate the kind words my friend!
Nice sharing and big like 👍👍👍👍
Appreciate you my friend! Thanks for the kind words!
Well thought out. Aside from the medicines you mentioned, you may want to add a second bandaid, a paperclip, and upgrade that toothpick. Your "clothes pin" is actually a safety pin. That nail clippers does not have a file, nor is there a file in your kit. I'd recomment upgrading to a similar clippers with a file. I don't know how many post-its you have there, but you may want to add a fresnyl lens. You may want to put a tie under the trigger lever on the lighter, to prevent discharge.
These are all great tips! Need to update the kit and will check these out!
Super cool kit 🔥 awesome
Love this set up for everyday use
Nice kit.
I feel like a nerd at times with all my do dads, but at the same time, I woudln't have it any other way. Appreciate the kind words!
Some good ideas ! I typically don't carry stuff on my person except for a knife & a small flashlight. However I do keep outdoorsy/survival type stuff in my backpack and in my car (the car version being a bit larger).
You should make a video of your set up!
@@MetroOnTheMove No thanks, I get out in the woods to escape all that stuff.
@@safromnc8616 that is actually a better idea!
This is great! Very inspirational. Incredible that so much can fit in such a small space. The bic lighter is probably the biggest thing. Ear plugs are surprising but really like the handheld screw driver bits.
This little kit has been really helpful for most everyday events. The ear plugs also work to keep the bits from rattling in the kit.
Wow, nice collection of stuff Andy.
Now…it’s on to a mini tin
I never considered kevlar thread. It will be added soon. Thanks!
Hands down, the kevlar thread is incredible for attaching patches and such because the thread doesn't break. Definitely recommend!
Cool kit! My mini Bic is going on 6 years on all my hikes…
Some things are just built to last right?
Great seeing these old school altiods tin kits still getting attention . I got a few tins myself still maybe I will fill them up again
You should! Love to see the items you use
That’s cool. 🦑
Each of these items has some serious miles on it. Use this kit everyday!
How about some links for buying some of this stuff?
Will update date soon!
Where’s the links? I would like to buy some of this stuff
I’m not sponsored…yet. If you Google, you may find better prices.
Will a 91 mm Victorinox knife like Climber fit in Altoids EDC kit ?
You should pick one up and start a kit!
@@MetroOnTheMove Gonna do that very soon !
Lol… 👎🤮
Nice kit.
Got everything I need for most everyday events! Thanks for watching!
