7:15 To me, the lower leg looks long and odd because the knee armor is still on the upper leg when bent. I think the armor piece should be attached to the lower leg. Double jointed knees are a must for Jedi. Qui-Gon's kneeling meditation from The Phantom Menace for example. Wouldn't be able to make the pose look good with single jointed knees.
Only complaint is I wish they used a new head like the deathwatch mando, would of preferred a solid helmet head
I like the look of this one. The reuse isn't an issue for me with this as it makes sense. I do still like Bo & Koska though. Like you said the pistol is a much better plastic choice. I don't know why they use the cheap looking one when they have this.
I agree about articulation being hampered with Black Series. They should just copy Jada's Street Fighter setup.
A shame the helmet is glued down. Always good to have customisation options.
Just picked up 8 of these. $35 with a $15 dollar off deal. Don’t normally buy any Star Wars figures but couldn’t pass up that price.
Hasbro has definitely made female figures with double jointed knees. Look at Aurra Sing, Aayla Secura, Jaina Solo and Bastila Shan.
Just got my 2 yesterday
the head is glues in after soak for about five minutes i was able to get it out, it is unpainted Bo head,. oddly I'm getting more range of motion after seperating the two pieces. I would have enjoyed it more if walmart would have price matched. I preorder this when it first came out, th day of it goes on sale. they won't match the price. I hate walmart
I got them to price match. It was a major hassle, because they wouldn't price match the day it shipped, they told me I had to call back the day it arrived (and then the day it arrived, the price had changed again, so it was less than I paid but more than it was the day of release). All told I had to talk to 4-5 different people to make it happen. The benefit for me was that there was a screwup and two of the people both issued the refund. I pointed it out but they basically told me that they can't undo a refund once it's been entered, so I got double the difference back and only paid about $5 per figure.
Not a fan of Luke? Huh. I guess that’s a thing. I guess there’s people who don’t like Tom Holland Spider-Man. That’s not me as I dig Tom and Mark’s roles. It’s just weird to hear it. I thought they were universally liked. The figure is okay. There’s a crap ton of Mandos fighting Moff Gideon’s jet pack Imperials at the end of season three. So I guess add more if recreating that battle. The color difference is awesome good to vary an army look. I’ll get one if on sale.
I’m definitely an odd one out for not like the Luke Skywalker character. Mark Hamill is great, it’s just specifically Luke Skywalker. I take my nostalgia glasses off and watch the OT and see that honestly a whole lot wasn’t done in those movies. I know there was a bunch of EU/Legends stuff about Luke and that’s great and all, but I only know what I see on screen and it wasn’t much

I'm one of those pretty neutral in Luke
I suspect people who aren't that fond of Luke, prefer Han Solo instead, and moreover like Boba Fett. I prefer Han Solo out of the heroes and Leia even, but Luke and many similar heroes aren't really rugged enough or playful enough, so they come off as annoying, whiney, even arrogant. I don't like Frodo or Harry Potter, and prefer Aragorn, Gandalf, and Sirius Black and Snape, its sort of the same issue with Luke, Frodo, and Harry Potter.
I prefer the masked Death Eaters and the Malfoy father and son (Lucius and Draco) to any of the heroes, but I prefer Ron and Hermione to Harry Potter.
These are all sort of the same thing, like the masked Death Eaters are like the Masked Mandalorians, and the Nazgul are like that too.
I just received a bunch of Mandalorian figures, and a great accessory for them is the rocket launcher, it looks so cool with them.
I and many people feel that Han Solo is more relatable and like themselves in real life, a little more mercenary and goofy, a little more playful and mocking, as compared to being very earnest, but I've noticed that a lot of people who are a bit younger seem to be more earnest and might match less with Han Solo and find characters like Luke to be more acceptable. Way back in the day, I think that many people used to find Luke a bit lame and wimpy and did not want to link themselves to him as compared to Han Solo and Boba Fett who are basically like Cowboy and Pirate type characters which have long been the favorites of many boys who were raised on stuff like that, but things may have shifted gradually.
