I LOVE this and have been wanting to have a BOHO vibe in my bedroom. I'm old and did macrame many years ago... hopefully it will not be too frustrating. Thx for sharing.😀💕
Well done video. A suggestion for neater fringe - besides sharp scissors - is to tape the fringe down with wide masking tape and draw a line using a straight edge. Then cut with a rotary cutter. Blades are kind of expensive, but less than a new pair of scissors.
I'm not sure if you will see this now as it's an older vid, but I think it would be really useful at the beginning of the video to have a slide which says how many and what length of cord you use so we can pause and not forget :) hope this make sense...thanks ☺️
Yes! I totally agree, I will be making another macrame video soon and that would certainly be really helpful to have. Thank you for your tip 😊 I will for sure include that in my next macrame video!
This is so beautiful! I use to make macrame plant hangers. Some would hold 3 pots and went from the ceiling to the floor. I loved to do it. That was 25 years ago. I really want to make a wall hanging. Yours is so pretty. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! That’s so awesome! I would love to try and make a plant hanger! I am definitely loving making them! It’s very relaxing 😌 thanks so much for watching! 💕
This tutorial is well done, I didn’t know it was that easy, I was always so intimidated by it, thinking it was like learning a whole new language. Thank you for explaining this, now I don’t have to buy an expensive one
@@kbdecorcrafts6873 my mom gave me one...I use it on everything so it's quite dull now!😂 I just made one "flag" of the banner using clothes line. Was a bit bulky so used half hitch on the outer part and still looks great! Thanks again!!
Loved the tutorial! I’m making a garland today. I really need a plank/ board like that to pin my end strands on though. Any alternatives or suggestions to it?
I use cork coasters/trivets which I also put hot pans/pots/etc. on. You can easily secure your macrame with pins. I usually get mine at Ikea they're called HEAT and cost 4$-ish for a 3-pack.
Thank you! I personally have never used black macrame cord so I haven’t searched for one to try. But I had a friend recommend this one in the link. SUNTQ Macrame Cord 3mm www.amazon.com/dp/B085DMDTJ7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_zKikFbFBSNE9Y
Hi there, thank you for this tutorial. This is my very first project and I'm stuck in the "double hitch knot" part. I've rewatched it about 20 times but cannot follow the directions. Could you help? Thank you.
Hello! Yes, I would say 100 meters is more than enough to use. I measure my cord by feet and I used approximately 130ft for the entire banner. My banner length was 4ft and I used 10 - 2.5ft cords for each set of banners I added and since I added 5 of them that equaled out to about 130ft. I hope that helps 😊
Has anyone followed this tutorial and done it? Bc Im having a really hard time :( lengths are uneven and the tying in the middle to make a point doesnt make a point. Any one have tips or another video to follow?
Beautiful
Put the beads in a baggie with the stain, shake, then wipe off. Saves so much time! Can't wait to make this for over our bed!
Thanks very much. Going to try for the back window of our adventure van. 😍

Great, easy tutorial. Can you share how long the working strings are?

Nice... will try... thank you
Beautiful !
Love it! But I would love to make it in black is there a macrame cord you recommend? Some that I found didn’t have good reviews

Plz mention total length of the cord and size of the cord.... Is 100 metres enough for this hanging?

@@kbdecorcrafts6873 thanq so much💕
No problem 😊
To make this entire thing how many metres of macrame thread did you use?
I measured in feet but converting to meters it would be just about 40 meters in total of cord that I used 😊
@@kbdecorcrafts6873 thanks a lottttt 😁
Of course! 🥰

Hi I am trying this, and I am kind of confused on the right hand side double hitch knot. Can you please send me a slower video of this.
You can modify the speed of the video. Just go to Settings and then Playback speed :)

I used about 130ft of 3mm cord. For each banner I used 10 - 2.5ft cords.

In centimetri !!!???? Please
10 cuts of 77 cm each. 10x77cm=for one flag/triangle
