    Nobody seems to want to acknowledge Hunt for pushing 53 off balance out of bounds. That is why the defender misses Mahomes. Hunt eliminated two defenders on that play.

    I don't think it's a coincidence that they had their best red zone game of the year when they made Hardman a bigger part of the offense. People forget how much he was cooking before that grade 3 groin tear two years ago (IIRC he was leading the team in TDs at the time). He's not perfect and has some fairly big holes in his game but he's more valuable than just being a return guy and he knows the offense inside and out at this point.

    • @jeffsherwood5259
      @jeffsherwood5259 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I think what makes Hardman special is his ability to stab or plant his outside foot to cut up field with sharp angles instead of bending his change of direction. I.e. jet sweeps, tom & Jerry routes and punt returns. Just my observations. He keeps building smart confidence w/dhop …something special.

    • @drubizzy
      @drubizzy หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      @@jeffsherwood5259 He's very Cheetah-lite in a lot of respects which makes sense given the conditions he was drafted under. That plant and go ability being one of them. Low key maybe the best jet sweep guy in the league.

    Love the breakdown. Worthy causes defenders to give up space on every play and Reid is just schooling everyone. Pat executes better than any QB I've seen. It's really fun to watch this offense. They don't have to score a lot of points but rather just possess the ball. Kick feild goals and rest their defense. DHop is the perfect fit. The way the Chiefs can run the ball on anyone and play defense, they don't even need to ever throw. It's amazing to watch rn

  • @bookman7409
    @bookman7409 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    Chase, @16:00: you have to look close at that interception, but it's the product of defensive holding, as the guy stayed locked up with Worthy up to the 40, well behind 5yds past the LOS. It's also perhaps DPI when the DB breaks and Worthy went down.
    X-man needs to muscle up some, because those calls do get missed, and he'll need to be able to fight free, but that's for after the last game's played.

    5:50 Kelce ran the wrong route here. Not sure if he didn’t know the play or just wasn’t ready (watch Kelce at the snap, he’s not even looking). Then watch Kelce end up in the same spot as the HB. There’s no way that’s how the play was designed.
    Kelce is supposed to have a “Dover” route with Worthy running a “basic” behind him. Mahomes is looking for Kelce on the Dover but he wasn’t there and that’s what started to get him to take off running.
    They’ve run that play “correctly” with the two overs at least a few times earlier in the season.

    Patrick can make plays when he needs to with not so good stats and a low QBR. He doesn’t care about statistics 📈 he wants to win games and championships. He wants to be like Brady without loosing himself and what makes him special. It’s not all about him but he drives everything on the team. I appreciate your breakdowns you understand Reid’s offensive system. Why was that deep ball throw with Worthy missed?? Is it on Worthy or Patrick or both??
