I find it completely amusing to listen to parts break in and the sonic changes as it does so, especially the times when the sonics get really crappy for a minute and then become a huge step better than before... The electrons have to figure out their path trough the parts. The crossovers I made a few months ago, 2 completely different speakers sets done, are still gettting better as time goes on. The difference between caps is quite large and the top end stuff is really fantastic. Cheers.
Hi Ian your pre amp gets a lot of good reviews as is , so your extra work has obviously taken it to another level . Which always makes me think why Hifi makes don’t push the most out of there designs to start with , yes they have to work to a budget but when you look at the overall cost that you have spent . It does seem a bit short sighted , especially when they would obtain parts at a much lower rate than you have paid . As for your negative feedback from fellow enthusiasts I’d take little notice , because they have not listened to your system make an informed judgement . I too would fall into the same category , but having followed your channel for some time now , I’ve no reason to doubt anything you say or do . Kind regards
Same goes with cables. I make cables kind of like yours with the cotton dielectric and they make a huge difference. I sent a pair to a guy with a $100,000 + system and he ended up buying those and another set.
Glad it worked out so well buddy. Wish you still had the bike with the big note kit, I could have ported the piston and barrel, then honed the cylinder bore, and blew your mind! 😉😂🤣 Jim🏴🙂

Delighted to hear of your success well deserved and well done..!

🎉🎉Great to hear your success tweaker man. Be interesting to understand the physics of burn in.

I think you can help form-a-capacitor with a 9 volt battery overnight, then discharge/short it before installing.
Can u put the name in here please?
TOSHIN KOGYO 👍
How come it was that particular cap you changed? If it was only two I’m surprised by the difference and what does that cap do in the circuit?
I talked to a few guys on different forums & they made my mind up to change them👍
