Holy smokes. I think I'll just play the game and whatever survivor medal I end up with will be just fine.

My only mission each season is to complete the battle pass and get the umbrella.
I got to mythic 3 easy without bot lobbies on Nintendo switch
its probably been said a few time but if you're in a party everybody's eliminations count towards the everybodys goal, i had 0 eliminations my friend had 2 and it counted towards the goal so dont be surprised if they dont lower the goal

Even using bot lobbies to grind this is a feat in itself. The mind numbing gameplay is insane. This is hours upon hours of gameplay.
How to do bot lobbies?
How are people able to do bot lobbies?
Just kill 10 bots off spawn and sit in bushes while doing schoolwork or something else. Sitting through the game itself would be awful.
@@Conntrailedyou need to create an account and play duos with it. The account can’t ever get over level 5 so have it back out immediately before bus launches so it gets no xp. Your duos game will then be filled with bots. You can make one with a cloud app on your phone or whatever and play duos with it.
@@robak2250 the problem is that the bots take forever to kill each other. It’s much quicker to kill them. It’s might be faster to just have friend so you can go on opposites ends of the island and kill them off.
I enjoyed playing ranked No build solo , worked both these challenges and the ranked together over the weekend. Halfway through blue and almost done with ranked. Hope they bring back solo no build ranked.

Survival medals used to be in the game but they worked way differently
Already got the silver. Will aim for the green because it's my favorite color.
Anything after that will just be a bonus that I may or may not get over the course of the season.

@@GlamrockWario87 well lets say you are on mythic and you need 10 kills and a win and you are playing with your friend and they are really good and get 10 kills it will count for you just make sure you get the win or you get 5 kills and your teammate gets 5 kills it adds up to 10 its just a combined total in duos trios and squads
I generally get 4-5 kills per match so the earlier ones are OK. I have over 500 solo wins but have only ever had maybe 3-4 matches that I've won with 10 kills or more. This is crazy hard.
I managed to get to legendary without even being aware that I was doing these quests but now that I'm aware I suddenly have such a hard time doing the same thing I did before💀💀
Great idea but poor execution on Epic's part for encouraging bot lobbies. There is no way they expect 99% of players to be able to do this. There are so many kids out there who wouldn't be able to set up bot lobbies, too.
Gotta learn you can't have everything without a little work and effort

I’m on legendary 7, I was on a fiery roll until I started lagging, I’ll keep you updated, I’m trying to get all the quests done without bot lobbies
The first few are easy enough but its frustrating to have to do them in order.
Like by game buddy got a 10 elim win 2nd or third game but that only counts for 1 of the early common quests.
Squads might be the way to go with these challenges

Assuming you use bot lobbies, dont die, and get enough kills, it would take you 70 matches, a match takes around 22 minutes (assuming you play the whole match) it would take 1,540 minutes or 25.7 hours

It's not a bad idea the survivor medals. It's a great way to get players to push for mythic
I don't use bot lobbies at all. I'm always facing players with YT in their names and all. The key to getting as many eliminations and winning is by one, hiring a mercenary, it's a must to confuse players. Two, go in guns blazing; don't play cautiously and camp. Most players are usually thrown off by it. Three and last advice, try your best to either snipe (Get one hit on and switch to another weapon to finish off) or get a riot shield to dash into fights without losing much life. Good luck.
I spent the first 2 days just grinding those and I got to the purple llama backbling and have just kinda started taking a break and havnt cared to continue lol
I have never been a fan of ranked gameplay and thats honestly all the llama quests are is a form of ranked... the solo lobbies this season have been abnoxiously sweaty and its just not a fun experience... I may go for the legendary backbling and maybe even exotic but theres honestly no way I could get the mythical one even if i killed 10 ai getting 10 wins with 10 kills is absurd
I'm honestly more of a Team Rumble gamer myself but have also been enjoying Escape Rooms and other Creative maps more than Battle Royale the last few months
I'm on the epic ones now. I think three kills per game and finishing with not many players left is doable for me, but once it's to start winning games then it becomes a lot more difficult. I've had one win so far this season and European servers are sweaty enough as it is. When does it start becoming really hard? Is it legendary? I don't have an account anywhere else so I'm not sure I can do bot lobbies.
@@TomAndrews91 all I know is NA lobbies have been super sweaty I ended up killing 3-4 ai or a couple ai and 1-2 real players early game then either hiding or running for my life until I reached the placement I needed lol because once super sweat saw me I would be dead
Tabor! Idk if you will see this comment but I've been going these challenges in duos and trios and combined kill count, counts toward the steps. Like if the team gets 4 kills and you only have one but you needed 2 to unlock the challenge, it will unlock. You don't have to get the kills individually. So it is way easier.

For one of the challenges although you need kills, one of my matches in squads i got no kills but the challenge still progressed because i got assists

I think it’s team kills because most of the time I don’t get the kill amount but with my duo we had enough and it work
As a conservative player, the quests starting from Legendary level are looking to be pretty hard for me.
My usual games before this season consisted of me going to low-population drop points and gathering higher tier gear for the eventual battles in the top 15, mostly avoiding conflicts with other players along the way.
Now these quests will force people to be super aggressive, so I'll probably end up using bot lobbies as well. I'm gonna hold out a handful of tries before I throw in the towel though.
I do the same thing for the seasonal gliders, try my hardest to win with my own skill before submitting to cheese tactics. I know you can grab a victory in Team Rumble to easily count for the glider win, but it's not the same as winning it from a true Victory Royale.
I got this season's umbrella from a Trios match with some friends, but I've yet to win on my own merits in Solos and I've promised myself to not use it until I secure my own Victory Royale.

How do you control using bot lobbies vs real player lobbies?

I haven't tried it yet myself, but the execution seems straight-forward.
Set up a new account, preferably on a different console than what you play on and add that account as a friend on your primary account.
Party up with that account and then start a match.
Because the account is new and doesn't have any account levels, the game supposedly will force bot lobbies to ease in the "new player" and not throw them in the deep end with real experienced players.
The key trick is to have the secondary account leave the match during the 10 second countdown before the battle bus leaves, that's the timeframe when the number of players is locked in for the match so no other real player should have access by then. This ensures that the account doesn't gain any XP from the match and will effectively stay at Account Lvl 0.
Yes, this means that you jumped into a duos lobby solo, but bots are generally simple in mechanics and easy to overcome.
People forget sometimes that the win condition is last player standing not most kills.
I even won a match without landing a single hit.

By the way; in the last interview with Donald Mustard, he did mention how AI can be used to track a player & (even in a bot lobby) -they can program/train the AI to learn your play style & use higher skills against you. They can elim you at a distance!!
I do bot lobbies almost every match I play so I'm probably going to try and get the mythic
I'm probably stopping where I am now or after I finish epic. To get five or more kills I have to be blessed with huge luck to do legendary or higher

Hopefully this helps but if your in squads and one teamate let’s say has 5 kills and your on legendary as long as you survive until the placement it says it counts : it’s very useful for me im on legendary so far without kinda cheating with bot lobby’s I would say only use bot lobby’s if your in exotic or mythic

I just play 2-4 games before bed at night but if what you're saying is accurate then I'm a decent player. (I always thought I was very average and didn't even understand your crowns reset after a season cause this is only my 2nd).
This is my 2nd season playing. But I'm nearly able to claim the mystic medal.
I struggle to get 10 and win though.
It's usually one 9r the other not both. The 7 and wins wasn't too hard but 10 is kicking my ass.

I have the legendary llama working on exotic it's difficult and I might not try to keep working on them
Im not a cracked player or anything but got through the 5 Eliminations ones pretty easy. The 7 Elim set wasnt as easy but ended up getting through that. The 10 Kill ones seem to be my biggest struggle... but some things Ive noticed as Im leveling up the Survivor Medals. The wording says reach a specific amount of players remaining with however many elims... I read that as you had to have that many elims by the time you reach the # of players remaining which isnt entirely true as long as you get the # of Elims needed. Also Its been giving me the medals for not even reaching the # of elims needed. Im thinking if someone on your team knocks a player and you assist in finishing him off, it counts as an Elim for the Medal. Hoping to finish the Mythic section tho since ive come this far
I'm on the exotic mode now get 7 eliminations which is quite common I usually get, but mythic is like get 10 kills sheeeesh

Overall, I think some of these missions are absurd
I wouldn't necessarily say bot lobbies is cheating, people do that (i do too) because people just get too good at this game, its impossible to get wins if you're a casual player you're just going up against sweats.

I'm just laughing about getting 10 elims in a regular game. That only happened once for me. I don't play bot lobbies either.
I did it legit, had to get it done on the last day with 2 ten elim victory royales. Also had to grind to get final kato thorne. Im not that good but had to try.
My lobby ramped up too much when I got to mythic. It’s too stressful to worry about and a ridiculous challenge. One single time is enough and should be the challenge.
I got the mythic one during the og season, but idk how, cause when it came to the 10 wins, I just got it eventually somehow, so I’m wondering what the parameters are, do you need the exact amount of elims at the player count, or can you get the elims needed after? Or even could you go past the elims needed? Cause I remeber that on the 7 elim one, I killed six players, hid till the 1v1 then won.
i’m not sure if i’ll be able to get mythic. i’m pretty confident i can get the others with some grinding, but 10 elims for me is a pretty good game and i don’t know if i can win and get that many elims. however, it’s a fun addition to the game and will definitely challenge me to get better.

I got 8 kills earlier when doing the Nolan quests (was also a named drop spot) and ended up 6th. I don't normally get more than a couple of kills so no idea how far I will get the challenges

I'm a casual Fortnite player and I have the mythic Llama and I never used bot lobbys to do the Survivor Quests.
Yeaaah, I think I'll just go up to Legendary and then stop. Me and my friends rarely play Fortnite together now, and doing Exotic and Mythic in random squad lobbies is a literal no for me. Most randoms don't do team coordination well.
When I get the amount of kills needed for a quest, I just wait until the player count goes down via hiding. Can be risky, but it's better than having to reset an entire match's progress cus you got killed.

Would have been nice if the survivor objectives stayed the same as you progressed. Not going to bother trying for exotic unless Team Rumble can count this which I doubt.

The last quest for legendary and exotic and the 10 the mythic quests dont count in team Rumble.

I got the Mythic Llama backbling, I will say getting this done was VERY VERY hard considering even if you do get the 7-10 kills. Your next match would be even harder. Iv faced TTV and YT or renegade raiders more than I can count 😢
I'm always facing YT and TTV. I think it's easy. I love ruining streamers streams by beating them. The key is the go in gun blazing and a lot of players won't expect it. Every time I see a gunfight I'm always running towards it and picking players off. It's fun. If you don't play cautiously the game rewards you. 😊
But this backbling is what makes this backbling so unique but also such a big flex if you have it. Which makes it so much more addictive to try and get
It took me around 120 games of this season to reach Mythic 1 (legitimately, I didn't use any bot lobbies.)
So what do you do if it's glitched out because I keep getting three eliminations and then top five

I personally agree with these challenges being a thing in general. I mean, for a player like me whos basically the opposite of competitive lol, i wish they did make... a little easier or more accessible in terms of player skill level. I hope they do nerf the challenge requirements at some point in agreement with tabor, even if its a little slap in the face to those who somehow grind it out for the mythic or exotic and whatnot.
aye if you play with people all of the parties eliminations count towards the goal so if if you play squads that'd be like wiping out 2 and 1/2 squads completely doable, epic games just words challenges in a way that makes it seem like its solo progression only when its not i hope that helps you with the grind a little
@@yourstruly4536 man, I play with random squad players and they all for on me so I'm often left to my own devices in acquiring kills and levels. I RARELY get to end a match with 1-2 squadmates still alive. I don't play with friends cause they play crap like Wordle, ugh.
@yourstruly4536 it doesn't. I've been playing squads since the beginning of the season and it doesn't work that way. Even common, one game I tested it, I got no kills and we got 28 total kills and it didn't give me the medal. It has to be done by your own hand.

These challenges are fair but I can barely find anyone in my matches
I don’t know how I feel about epic almost forcing you to play several matches. Hopefully they make it so the game is always refreshing especially since these can only be done in real matches/bot lobbies. Definitely can’t wait last minute for these quests
Just play literally any competitive playlist and you can unlock both the llama colors and the competitive quest rewards...
OR if you just camp and play regular Battle Royale but set it to like duos or trios no fill and there will be more people to kill. (Also as I found out earlier, the silent sniper rifle that's Legendary and the mythic version is one shot kill headshot even with full health and shield. So possibly might help you a little bit sitting in the top of a tree/port-a-bush with the suppressed sniper.
I'm not that great of a player and I'm already past the purple llama...but I won't lie I'll probably have to start doing bot lobbies to do the 10 elims ..10 times. Especially with 10 kills and a victory Royale...since I very rarely consistently get 10 kills in a match this season unless I pick up the Mythic Sky's impulse grenade launcher where you can just launch yourself around the map.
