@@CoreyKaha I feel like they might really need to bring in someone like Ped, Sips/Hafu, or Kirsty/Briony. Ped's love of optimization, I feel would appeal to Trott but Sips of course already meshes really well with the Hats.

I do not understand Smiths fear of toppings; with the rate Trott is making pizza he’d be able to keep it fully stocked always, so all it asks of the servers is to remember the order for two seconds.
And therein lies the issue. You are asking Ross and Smith to use their brains for something other than bants.

Am I the only one that thinks it might be an interesting mod/option in the game to have ingredients cost something? It would add a new dimension with you not just cranking out such an abundance and trying to actually match demand. It would make the freezers matter that much more, too.
That's interesting! I think it would be cool if there was some sort of 'clean restaurant bonus' you get at the end of the day if you manage to finish with no mess on the floor and no dirty plates.

3 grown men that have played this game for hours and still don't realize that
1) getting 1 customer per table is bad
2) PUTTING TABLES SO FAR AWAY AND LOSING TIME
to be fair this was a franchise with single dining so the one person per table they didnt really get to choose now

This game seems great and a lot of fun for anyone who likes this type of logistical challenge, keeping your head cool and tracking multiple things at once and so on.
As someone who’s worked in many restaurants, cafés and the like… this game is just painful to watch. The amount of stress, pressure, no rest, no break from shit tons of noise, questions, running around… I hate this type of job with an almost trauma-like passion.
It upsets me to no end that I’ve been ruined by the industry cause I really can see how this game would be fun for so many and the bois seem to have so much fun too!
They've got to be trolling us at this point. How could they have not figured out that the tables being as far away as physically possible is a bad thing? More toppings is also pretty easy. Being afraid of more toppings being difficult is making the game harder.

They don't even think about it, moving the tables to the far corner is literally the first thing they do when they enter the restaurant 😂
The fear of sides is horrific, once you get past the sides fear, the reduced customer count makes it a total cakewalk. Especially if you've enslaved a catfish and locked them in a kitchen.

You guys need to get the purple tablecloth tables. You set them against another table, they don’t merge. Great addition for the single service. Upgrade your tables!

To answer your question about the waiter seeming to come when you have a mouthful of food it’s actually called the two bite rule. My GF worked as a server and she was told to check in with a table after they had time for two bites to make sure everything is fine

Someone just whined about how they were not putting the tables next to the wall on one of their first runs, and they pretty much stuck to that advice lol
With the Mario movie, I can definitely tell on my second viewing of the teaser that Chris Pratt probably tried to do the traditional, high, Charles Martinet, Italian voice but it either didn't sound right or he couldn't keep it consistent. I like the idea that this voice is based on a younger version of the TV series Mario, who has much more of a Brooklyn-esque accent.
Why do they literally put the tables as far away from the counter as possible? It's a clear sign of insanity at this point.

So they have one less dinner perk thing for their tables. Why are they putting the tables so close together they can seat 4, so one less is 3 dinners per table?

toppings and side dishes = less customers.... Once more you just completely ignore the chat trying to help you and pick the worst cards x.xAnd every tile you run is time wasted that you could have used doing other stuff... Place things nearby to get much more time and less stress.
They also could be delegating tasks better. Trott is so efficient at getting pizzas out purely because that's his ONE job. Meanwhile you have Smith and Ross tripping over each other both trying to serve, clear, and clean. Meaning clean plates are getting left in the sink and dirty plates end up left in random places which hamper either Trott or the other server.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Put trott out of a job. See if you can automate the pizza making process and have 3 waiting staff?
I think the way they play it is impossible to automate anything. They need to save that research desk blueprint until they get another one so they can get a copy desk or a blueprint desk. They don't seem to know what the upgrades are though, which also makes that difficult.

smith is the most unfun person to watch play this game, any opportunity to make the game more interesting by adding more menu items he just turns it down and moans if anyone even suggests it. It's getting pretty boring seeing them make plain pizza every single time

Dear god, PLEEEEEASE play this game with Ped or Lewis… you boiks need some proper training in the kitchen!
I really do not understand this new mario film hate because chris pratt wont have an italian accent, there is already a live action mario film with Bob Hopkins and he certainly didn't have an italian accent
People just like to complain about insignificant stuff.
The live action Mario film is also famously terrible.
The issue with them casting Chris Pratt is they could've cast literally anyone else. Charles Martinet has voice the character throughout the games and is a very talented and respected voice actor, even if the exact voice he's used for Mario in the games were a poor fit for this project (which I'll freely admit it may be) he'd likely be very capable of adjusting accordingly. If for whatever reason Charles couldn't or didn't want to they could've found another skilled voice actor, it's not like there's a shortage of skilled voice talent about.
So rather than casting a good voice actor, they decided to cast Chris Pratt who has thus far demonstrated the amazing range of playing: Chris Pratt (end of list).
Mario isn't supposed to have an Italian accent. Canonically, Mario and Luigi were born in Brooklyn. They would have a Brooklyn accent, which Chris Pratt doesn't have either, But Bob Hoskins actually does a pretty good Brooklyn accent.
