I love that when In the Heights was on Broadway, Lin-Manuel and Chris Jackson would watch the West Wing on Bravo together, leading to it subconsciously influence multiple moments in Hamilton. Having Jimmy Smits in the movie just brings that all back together. (In my head, President Santos went to see In the Heights the way President Obama did for Hamilton
