Your videos were actually a huge help to me when I was going through treatment, you helped me keep smiling with your funny commentary and interesting tidbits about the horror movies I love. I didn’t feel any profound grief for weeks, and then one day I started thinking about memories of him, and it all hit me at once. Lean on your loved ones, tell stories, anything. I don't presume that anyone from the channel will see this but I need to say this because I care and I found Dead Meat around the time they first started, this channel helped keep my spirits up in the hospital after becoming a paraplegic. So, what I have to say is this; firstly, I'm very sorry for your family's loss and thank you for your candor about this you're always forthright with us. Second, You all have been here through all of our good times and bad and given what you can and more. I'm so sorry you're going through this James. I lost my mother in 2011 and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with. Not a day goes by where I don't think of her in some way. Your situation is very similar to what a best friend of mine is dealing with whose father was recently diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. When the time inevitably comes, I will be there for him as much as I can. Loss is always difficult, especially when it's a close family member. But they live on through you. Stay strong! ❤

For the past few months I basically lost half of my family, my grandmother, two of my aunts, my uncle and my 44 year old cousin. Some of those deaths were less painful, some of them, especially my grandmother, hit me like a truck. It is an unspeakable tragedy that those incredible people are no longer with us. I am 100% sure that your father was also one of those incredible human beings, that filled your life and your sisters life with joy and happiness. All I can say is that, as saddening as this is, they never did like to see you cry so it's best to remember the good times with them, and celebrate their life more than anything... This is so hard to hear, James. As a cancer survivor myself I know first-hand how hard the whole process of dealing with it can be. Your videos were actually a huge help to me when I was going through treatment, you helped me keep smiling with your funny commentary and interesting tidbits about the horror movies I love. Sending you as much love and care as I can, I truly hope you can take some time to look after yourself and put your family first. The channel shouldn't be a priority right now, take as long as you need - we'll all be here when you come back!

My 2 out of 3 younger siblings also died of cancer a couple years back so I feel your loss James. My prayers are sent.
Obviously I don’t speak for everyone, but take as long as YOU need. I lost a parent last year, and I know how surreal, strange, and numbing it can feel. I didn’t feel any profound grief for weeks, and then one day I started thinking about memories of him, and it all hit me at once. Lean on your loved ones, tell stories, anything. So sorry for your loss man, we love you.

I don't presume that anyone from the channel will see this but I need to say this because I care and I found Dead Meat around the time they first started, this channel helped keep my spirits up in the hospital after becoming a paraplegic. So, what I have to say is this; firstly, I'm very sorry for your family's loss and thank you for your candor about this you're always forthright with us. Second, You all have been here through all of our good times and bad and given what you can and more. We will be grateful for anything the channel gives us but I'm sure we all just want you to grieve, take care of yourselves, not worry about content and be the good people you are!

Take all the time you need, man. The fact you’re letting everyone know to keep everyone in the loop in concern to your channels content displays crazy loyalty to your fans. You can’t really know a person from just their content alone, but I’m sure everyone here loves you and all that you do, you bring an awesome energy and spirit to everything you do. I'm so sorry you're going through this James. I lost my mother in 2011 and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with. Not a day goes by where I don't think of her in some way. Your situation is very similar to what a best friend of mine is dealing with whose father was recently diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. When the time inevitably comes, I will be there for him as much as I can. Loss is always difficult, especially when it's a close family member. But they live on through you. Stay strong! ❤
This is such an unfathomable pain, and there are no words. I lost my mom back in January and have been trying to navigate the void she left behind ever since. I wish you and your family healing James. I hope you and others around you allow you all the time and space you need to grieve. May your father rest peacefully.
For the past few months I basically lost half of my family, my grandmother, two of my aunts, my uncle and my 44 year old cousin. Some of those deaths were less painful, some of them, especially my grandmother, hit me like a truck. It is an unspeakable tragedy that those incredible people are no longer with us. I am 100% sure that your father was also one of those incredible human beings, that filled your life and your sisters life with joy and happiness. I am so glad that you had a chance to be with him during his last moments. Stay strong, James.
