I feel that Passion taking over the console and blocking all other emotional access to the console would be an interesting concept, even though it’s essentially the same story of Inside Out 2 (which, in an of itself, is technically the same story of Inside Out 1 where Joy was taking control of the console instead of Anxiety). I feel that the dangers of Infatuation and obsession could definitely be explored through Passions control.
The villain could be not an emotion, but a void. Who makes grey memories, over throw the emotions, and wants to turn Riley's mind into grey. He can be called Desolation.
I think if this was accurate, then Passion would be the main antagonist. Passion would dominate the console and in so doing, she inadvertently makes Riley infatuated and completely obsessive with a guy. A guy who is clearly toxic and / or a loser to the audience (and by extension, the rest of Riley’s emotions are desperate but powerless to stop Passion’s control).
